Super Rugby Rnd 1: Brumbies v Force

Equalizer

Phil Hardcastle (33)
Force need to take their opportunities. Had plenty of ball. Dont like the ball being thrown at the Force player after the Brumbies try.

Great little play from the Force there, very unlucky not to get a meat pie.

Shame about the new dropout rule punishing them for coming within inches....

I don't understand scrum penalties like that.

When a scrum collapses or is incomplete, I understand when there is a penalty.

When two sides compete and the ball comes spurting out the back as a result of the Brumbies pressure, surely it's play on? The purpose of the scrum is a challenge to reset the ball, and that happened. The challenge meant it was sloppy ball for the Force, and they are under pressure.

Nothing in this game. If the Force were a bit more clinical they could be in front. Like the defence and they are competing like mongrels. Good signs considering it's the first game. Keep it going Force.

Pretty good game so far in my opinion. A real arm wrestle.

I'm impressed Pasitoa. Looks composed and has a good eye for opportunity, without overplaying his hand and wanting to be the belle of the ball (like Gordon did so yesterday).

Having watched every game this weekend, I'd rank the 10s as such:

1. Pasitoa
2. Donaldson
3. Lolesio
4. JOC (James O'Connor)
5. Gordon

Also a big fan of this Force hooker, and Len Ikatau continues to be excellent.
