If you take a quick tap and are tackled within 5m by non retreating players is it not a yellow card or at least another penalty? Asking four times for a friend.

Questions to come out of this weekend:
Have Drummoyne done enough to avoid the spoon?
Have Petersham blown there opportunity to win the club Champs and minor premiership after beating UNSW last round?
What’s happened to Beecroft?
Where have Redfields players gone?
How long can Penrith’s roll continue another upset this week.

Why are we no longer noting in the app if the game is a forfeit or the score being listed as 28-0 by Subbies. Seems like forfeit is a dirty word and we don’t want to admit when one happens. It makes for confusing tables with washouts and rescheduling of games

Looks like it has still an option to list forfeited games

Maccabi v Raptors
Renegades v HVRU
EDIT: Epping v Canterbury
Harlequins v Redfield
3 from 4.

Our game was a lot more competitive than I expected, particularly given the reshuffles we had even on game day. Valley were missing a few as well which probably limited their usual cohesion. We did well in the set piece and even looked decent around the park but still lacking the polish we need to move ahead. Missing half a starting forward pack did not help as well as a few backs.

I'm shocked by the Harlequins over Redfield result tbh. A cursory look at Redfield's team sheet shows a lot of regulars so not sure how much the Adelaide thing affected them

Total of 28 players on Redfield team sheets, so yeah looks like a few were absent. Video will be interesting viewing.

Numbers were down a little across Div 5 - Epping and Quins @ 37 with Renegades @ 36 the best of those.

Canterbury is interesting reading: 34 players in total but no reserves for First Grade.

Hawkesbury 32 which is low for them. Raptors 27, Redfield 28.

The unfortunate thing with Div 2 is if we see a club like Pats say next year it would be easier to run 2 grades and Colts plus a Halligans or a drop in Irish’s numbers after the Lions tour that division won’t exist which leaves the bigger clubs in no man’s land and creates a huge gulf between Div 1 and the rest. If there’s no Div 2 what happens to UNSW, Petersham and Forest next year?
Subbies committee only have themselves to blame for the demise of Div2. How can you go from a competitive Barraclough competition with St Pats, HH, Forest, Lindfield, Hills, UNSW thriving to the calamity it is now is the space of a few years? Disgraceful.

An insider has suggested that a Redfield wedding was the reason for their low numbers, however, they have advertised for players on their socials as well.

On a different note, coaches points at the end of the game. Most clubs going 3-2-1, but how many players (max.) should get points each week.

Don't understand your point.

Are you saying HH should have stayed in Div 2?

What's your solution?

Div 2 is struggling cause the big clubs like HH and Lindfield have moved up to replace the clubs that are struggling and have dropped.
But as mentioned numerous times there isn’t anyone pushing up from the lower divisions to fill the division when the bottom clubs drop.Irish have done it this year with a lot of help but there isn’t anyone else.
Subbies tried some out of the box ideas last year to keep teams in the division and this forum tore it apart.
So this is what you get an ever growing gap between the top end of town and the rest. As more clubs falter like Pats the harder it will be. But let’s keep pretending the current system works
