I see Argies got done 36-25 by the BabyBoks after leading 15-25 at HT.

Anyone know if they're the real deal? I assume all 4 teams at this level are a bit of a coin flip.

Really hard to know with no knowledge of the players. We've made 8 changes following a good showing so I semi assume others will do similar things. This tournament is great but also prep and selection for the WC so it's a nice to win but not a must.

The Argies over the last few years are legit. The piggies lay a hell of a platform and play hard nosed Rugby which seems a shock to many at this age.

I can't tell if we played NZ at the right time or if Argentina just isn't as strong this year
NZ have definitely stepped up a couple of levels since our game.

The cohesion in the Argentina team just isn’t there.
Match fitness seemed to be lacking for many of them. Plenty of fatigue.

Good to have these games highlight areas of concern before the World’s kicking off in Italy in 53 days.

Brilliant second half comeback win 29-24 from the Junior Wallabies after being down 17-0. Beau Morrison and Eamon Doyle were standouts in that second half when they had to play 7 and 8 respectively due to injuries. Fowler and Ata off the bench really good as well. Lots of issues at scrum time to fix but another display of grit and character.

Wow. Got up and watched the replay. Set piece and handling really poor in the first half, but the second half was epic. This team really have huge amounts of ticker, fitness and are well led. Agree about Morrison and Doyle - like big energiser bunnies. Whitaker clearly doing what Grey couldn’t so far.

from the highlights, Morrison hits the line at pace and draws the defenders well. Harvey looks pretty comfortable and levelheaded at the back. Will be interesting to see who is selected for the third game. Looks like we need a miracle to win the comp due to points differential, but two wins and a draw would be outstanding.
