I just opened Stan, scrolled to the 70th minute, then turned it off.
If that is our future, we've got some work to do...

In the backline it was a different 9, 12, 13 and 15Haven't compared the sides but how different was this RSA side from the one Aus beat in SA a month ago?
Nearly all of them!!!How many jnr wallabies are signed with super franchises ?
If Hwi Sharples isn't the definition of being "identified" at 14 and then given the rails ride through the pathways i don't know what is.Also much prefer Martens at scrum
Half than Sharples!
Nothing wrong with the talent I D system in oz thenNearly all of them!!!

No one is saying to start from scratch, but selectors should start casting the net slightly larger. Putting your "PONI" player in cotton wool and not having them play on the Sunshine Coast is embarrassing. These kids need to be playing Rugby not pushing tin in a gym or prancing around on the training field. He's fine though.
Given he clearly holds his own with the 9s from other states it's hard to take issue with his selection for NSW.
I have no idea why people seem to think that underage selections should start from scratch every year. That was very much the old pathway system and it worked terribly.

All eligible u18 players should be available for selection to play in the upcoming schools' tournament on the Sunshine Coast. No player should be placed in cotton wool and given a free pass through to the next stageWhat do you mean by this?
Sharples is 20 though, he's not eligible for the ASJRU ChampionshipsAll eligible u18 players should be available for selection to play in the upcoming schools' tournament on the Sunshine Coast. No player should be placed in cotton wool and given a free pass through to the next stage
