We lost two before Fainga came on one not straight one a shit throw if I remember correctly. But we had massive pressure on there scrum and lineout. They in essence did well. But Fainga'a did stuff a few, don't think the last not straight was a fair call, but these two are our clear 1 / 2 hookers in Oz.
Nah not clear 1 / 2 hookers in Oz.

You can’t be missing 50% of your throws and be considered best in Oz

ESPN stats have the WB line out as 8/11, two to Fainga'a makes bit hard for there to be two before he was on. Also if the number of lineoutsj is proportional to time on the field (53 mins in 82 ish for Porecki) that gives Fainga'a something like 2/4 and Porecki 6/7. The performance of the line out was not equal between the period Porecki was throwing and when Fainga'a was throwing.

I stand by my thoughts that our starting line out was a real step forward. To be fair to Fainga'a, and I mentioned this earlier, he had to deal with a line that included Skelton. I'm not pointing fingers at Skelton here, just the obvious that when he is in the lineout it is going to be easier for the opposition to pick the throw.
BPA ffs.

Sounded like Foketi's injury is bad in the interview I read with Rennie. Time for Rennie to bite the bullet and call up Simone. Or maybe take a chance on Donaldson at 12, Pasami has had too many chances.

We would get Simone for the Italy & Ireland test only

Yeah, we will revert to Paisami and Hodge as our 12s now, with P Samu as cover. They might call someone from Aus A into the squad for experience but I doubt he will get a run.

Edit: assuming he has recovered Petaia will be the cover

Edit #2: I think I also read during the week that Campbell is covering 12 as well?

Couple of thoughts from the game:
- France have never worried me as much as England and Ireland and this game reaffirmed that. Not sure if the Wallabies are a bogey team or they are just overrated. Most likely it's a combination of the two.
- In saying that, their backrow was fantastic. All 3 are good in the loose, lineout and ruck as well as having fantastic work rates.
- This forum hates him, but Wright was our stronger wing today. He was good under the highball, showed his speed and generally ok in defence. Yes he missed an important tackle, but anyone who has played in the outside backs would understand how difficult that tackle is against a dangerous ballrunner and it should have been cleaned up by Campbell regardless.
- Lastly, when did Foley turn into such a boring kickbot? He used to be quite a dangerous ball runner but now his game revolves around up and unders when he's not shovelling on shit ball. There were countless times where he had the opportunity to counterattack when he was defending at fullback but chose to kick on every occasion.

In Campbell’s defence, anyone who has played in the outside backs would understand how difficult that tackle is against a dangerous ballrunner

He had just stepped off his right foot and his momentum was towards Campbell, who never completely committed and was in position to make the tackle.

Keep Ikitau where here is. I'd rather Paisami at 12 than the rest if Foketi is out. He's got two weeks to get right though. The Waratahs and Rebels Wallabies contigent have taken a fair whack.
I am not suggesting the move unless we are also without Paisami. That is a last gasp selection if warranted only
