Well who really cares, but we've got one more game.
Time to give the likes of Nonggorr, Kemeny, IFL, Perese, Gleeson some time.

1. Schoupp
2. Faesslar
3. Nonggorr
4. Frost
5. Phillip
6. Leota
7. Kemeny
8. Gleeson
9. IFL
10. Gordon
11. Vunivalau
12. Foketi
13. Perese
14. Petaia
15. Kellaway
Can we afford to play a B team?

Why the downvote? Portugal drew with Georgia and ran Wales tough. It’s disrespectful to act like they can’t play

It’s not a walkover game. Especially considering we just lost to Wales 40-6

It's a good question. Will it matter either way? Even these guys should crush Georgia up front, and at least with a Tahs 10-12-13 and winger we've got guys who have played together for defence.

Yes it would be disrespectful to put out the B team. It would smack of arrogance at this point and if they were to lose we'd be hearing about it from Poms and Kiwis for at least the next 20 years. Hence the downvote to the suggestion.

We should be thrashing Portugal, it wouldn't be good on Kemeny, Gleeson, Fines etc. to take them over to France for a WC and barley play them, these guys have been selected because in Eddie's mind there good enough to be there and deserve the spot so let's seem what they can do, can't be any worse than guys like Arnold, White, Donaldson, Fa'amausili and Co

He's going to have to roll out a full strength squad for this game, rack up as many points as possible in the unlikely scenario Fiji drop another game...

Also, this Wallabies team could plausibly lose to Portugal if they run out a B squad.
Absolutely and Portugal can throw you away from the Top 10 for the first time in history

Can we give some players who haven't played a go? A huge win doesn't change anything. Start Gleeson, Start IFL let them play good footy.
Who's talking about a huge win? The main purpose herr is survive. Winning means you mantain your #10 spot. You can be #14 or #15 if you lose against a semi professional teams with 5 French.

That looks a similar standard to the team Rennie put out against Italy and we know how that ended. Sure, start with some also rans but strengthen the bench to bring it home. Also, it would be better to start Gordon to keep his confidence up after some poor showings. He is likely our No 10 still, but I doubt Donaldson will ever get another run there with the Wallabies.

I'm not sure Donaldson even knows how to spell defence let alone how to do it. And Perese is good for an occasional big hit but not what you'd call the defensive manager needed at 13. All being Tahs (though Ben is now with the Force) is meaningless.

Yet all being Brumbies would mean we won the whole tournament.

Rightrightright...

Shoulda sacked EJ (Eddie Jones) already. Take out another loan to cover the cost of his early termination. All of the assistants too. Fuck it - throw in the board.

The receptionist at RA can call one of the lads and tell them to play however the fuck they like. Could only result in an improved performance.
