While DC has selected his most inform players, with Holloway and Sinclair as locks and Gamble at 6 it's a very light pack (albeit very mobile). I like Vailanu coming in as 16, Horton has been out of form.
I hope Swinton comes good, tough gig for the young bloke. Yes BR, Leota did win the spot last year, but Swinton was always thereabouts in Rennie's mind, and despite your dislike of the colour jumper he wears, a strong Super season and/or an injury or two and he was a real Wallaby prospect.

Since when have the Waratahs worn red?

That bench is starting to look much better, some units that can actually turn a game

For someone reason they didn't tweet out the team this week. It is on Facebook though and the website though (and was part of the regular Rugby Australia release).

Thanks Gordon, but you left out their grandmother's maiden names and where their fathers went to kindergarten. ;)

5 Hugh Sinclair (Northern Suburbs/ Lindfield/ S.H.O.R.E)

Gordon Bray certainly wouldn't make the mistake thinking that SHORE was an acronym. The acronym is SCEGS!

Nice rewards for form ie Sinclair at lock and gamble at 6 with Rahoni on the bench offering a rag of riches. I can see why Sinclair starting at lock over cridge as he has a shocker on last outing and with depth and form of players makes competition hot which is what you want.

If he makes 1 tackle I'd be happy. He's a better scrummager than Archer Holz (at this stage of his career)

and if we're talking about passed it - why is Roberts playing?
Because of injuries and the fact that Roberts is a past it International that played over 90 tests for Wales plus a few Lions games? I liked the Smith brothers at their prime but they were hardly International s and Ruan's start against t he Reds was pedestrian.. Holz has a way to go, but I don't think he's been letting the side down
