Gold Coast Breakers again struggle to keep their local talent with the majority of the TSS boys from the 1sts and some 2nds scattering to UQ, Souths and Easts.

He should come back to the Woonona Shamrocks Colts (if the argument is good enough for Sydney Uni then its good enough for us) and so should Rory Davis.

This would then give us:
  • 3 NSW U17s forward (2 front rowers and a 2nd row)
  • Rory at 1/2
  • Ryan Sorrel (NSW Country U17 5/8) Cory at 2nd 5/8
and we need to talk Josh Simons back (from the Dragons) at outside.
We then just need someone to play against.
Maybe Bruce Ross could organise a game against Sydney Uni 3rd grade colts to be called the " Bruce Ross" cup.

He lives down the coast so why would he go to the north shore unless it is financially viable. Plenty of tolls along the way or maybe he is moving over that way?
Maybe the same viability that persuaded the Orrs to go South ;)
Assuming he is going to Norths, maybe he has just decided that is who he wants to play for. Maybe friends there, who knows? I have probably done him a disservice by referring to him as "ordinary". What I meant was he is not a superstar/Aus schoolboy. If he is indeed a Norths player for 2014 I wish him all the best, however to make 1st grade Colts he will need to prove himself over some very good incumbents and the young Clancy lad. Or change position. Norths have a good crop of country boys and he may have found some assistance with finding a job through the Norths network and maybe has secured a low cost housing spot. But to suggest that Norths would be throwing $$ cash at just another First XV player to potentially play Colts 3 is a bit of a tired cliche. Randwick on the other hand....

I thought, but can't recall how it was delivered or the outcome - player payment was discussed at the last ARU / Shute Shield meeting.

So many arguments for, and also against.
Players see the Shute as the stepping stone to Super, no longer are players plucked from obscurity like Steve Merrick was. Possibly why he is not at the Shamrocks.

He played 2 years of NSW schoolboys, so IMO that makes him a good acquisition.

Tah and feathered

Delore, linde, and 2 other from the Singleton area to Norths
Delore and Tulloch are both 10s so who is playing 2nds or in another position.

Delore is also a very good fullback.

He was outstanding for Combined States this year in either position.

People would know him better if he had gone to a GPS school.

Delore is a very good prospect same with Linde as an 8
I believe Delore has had recent surgery and hopefully he is good to play in 2014

I read earlier the twins from Shore are also headed there.
That's 3 fly halves from the Oz champs last year.
Hope the coach is a great man manager, there has to be some disappointed squad members there.
