Really? I didn't see a 24 point margin out there. Even with one eye shut. And the other painted Red.
Yeah we got the rub of the ref for the majority of the game. Yes, we didn't capitalise on some opportunities but I think that was due to committed play by the Rebels. Can't take anything from the Rebs perhaps their fitness and player depth again being their downfall.

Rebels' fitness is certainly a worry.

There was a point midway in the second half where they just couldn't get to successive rucks..... really poor.....

And then there's their skill levels, depth etc etc......

Does anyone get the feeling that the Rebels are the new Tahs?

On a positive note for the Rebels, I though Lachlan Mitchell (apart from a bad tackle miss), Higginbotham and Robinson had pretty good games; Stirzaker looked sharp when he came on too. For the Reds Cooper looked pretty well in control, Gill was good again and Ioane had some good input.

Still hoping the new Tahs are just the old Tahs in disguise with a new coach. Will find out tomorrow.

Reds only going to get better. We will take the points and move onto next week.

Quade's kicking off the tee has been of a high standard.

Frisby needs to work on his passing from the base of the ruck. He has a bloody good kicking game. Young fella looks to have a bright future.

Ant Fainga'a. Well that is a reminder as to how important he is to us. Very clear his coaches also think so.

Saia Fainga'a looking good. Set piece looks fine and he is having impact around the park. His internet critics must be pissed.

Rob Simmons having more impact on the game. He has stepped his game up.

Reds back row looks very balanced, big engine and having real positive impact around the park.

Slipper growing into the captaincy well. He is looking good both around the park and set piece.

Greg Holmes also looking good.

Lance and Taps played well.

REF WAS POOR WITHOUT DOUBT.

Cooper needs to really lift his game immeasurably as well if he thinks he is going to get his wallaby jersey back. He is putting his forwards under enormous pressure by forcing them to defend for 20 minutes straight due to his repeated (and often unforced) errors, and not setting his back line for 20 phases (wtf was that shit?).

He is way better than what we have seen so far this season, and hopes he finds "it" soon.

Either missed the Fox End of game stats, or they weren't displayed:

Final Score:
Reds (23) Frisby, Tapuai Tries, Cooper Conv 2/2, Pen 3/4.
Rebels (13) Mitchell Try, O'Connor Con 1/1, Pen 2/5

I'm still a JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 believer. Give him some more time. He carried the Rebels in that game.

He was no good tonight. That's the worst I've seen him play live.

If Stirzaker keeps playing like that he'll have to be given a shot in the first XV. All you can ask for from a bench player. He's quick to the breakdown, takes the right options and takes them quickly, and then his pass is just exceptional. Defence still isn't amazing but he's knocking on the door.

He's had a bigger impact for the Rebels in the previous games at fullback.

He's still going to be close to their best player wherever he plays.

Sorry didn't see a 20 point gap either.
You clearly have more than 24 digits.
I could make the obvious joke, but you kind of made it yourself.

24 because, you know, 10 plus 14.

Meh. Anyway good effort Rebels.

Can anyone explain the penalty reversal against Robinson? All I saw at the ground was Anae lying all over the wrong side of the ruck and then throwing a punch.
