H.... Hmm...

Hay NSW. Bloody flat out there - hot in summer, cold in winter. Home of the mighty Hay Cutters Rugby Club. Next time you want to bitch about your drive across town to play away, think about what they need to do play against Tumut, 368 km distant.

Too slow Pfitzy.

"D" Stands from Hayfield

Darlinghurst. A Sydney suburb originally Henrietta Town after Mrs Macquarie. Plenty of night time activities occur in Darlinghurst.

Note T for Tumbi Umbi Gristlechewer

Albany Creek. Suburb on the north side of Brisbane.

EDIT: Man I'm waaaaay to slow. I can't even find the post I was replying to! Not sure what happened there!

EDIT AGAIN: Just worked out I was replying to post #339 on page 17. Sheesh! That'd nearly be a yellow card for professional foul wouldn't it? ;-)

Taigum - Suburb on the north side of Brisbane. If you lived there you'd be home by now! HA!

Someone ordered an 'M' right?

Awesome. Got my D.

Dumaresq. A locality NW of Armidale. Probably the only Q ending place in Oz. Also a river that runs past Texas, Qld and joins the Murray-Darling via the Macintyre. Wines come from vineyards in the Dumaresq valley. Had any of these Lindommer? - Recommendations?

Mooball , small village up near Tweed, home of the Victory hotel and power poles painted to look like cows

Sure you have your undies on the right way today Scoey.

Be careful driving. Go home. Turn the foxtel on, watch some Kiwi footy and enjoy some of Milton's Finest Ales.

Oh maaaan! I've been watching this thread for a while and I've seen it make a fool of more than a few seasoned posters. No way was that going to happen to me I said. No way!

I can't be sure I even have undies on any more Hugh Jarse. I'm too scared even to check!

On another note, I write a little weekly Rugby bit here at work for a few of my mates, and you've no idea how close to the mark you came with your references to Friday night Rugby, fine beers and underpants. It's actually a little eerie!

Quilpie - Outback QLD at it's finest. Also one of the worldwide Mayan calendar 'end of the world safe-zones'

The conglomerate milk processor closed the local milk factory, so the locals bought it for bugger all, fired it up and started to produce outstanding cheese. If you ever see Kenilworth cheese on sale, BUY IT!

Agreed. Other cheeses: Charles Sturt Uni started making their own and the bush tomato blend was awesome.

Yeah, worked my way through a few New England wines at the Boutique Wine Show last year. All right, all right, a lot. OK? Topper's Mountain from up that part of the world do some outstanding blends. John Cassegrain told me many years ago he found a vineyard outside Delungra (look it up) which grew the best Shiraz he'd ever tasted; last year I came across Thomas New England Estate at a NSW produce show, and John was right! Between Warialda and Inverell on the Gwydir Highway. Grain, start of the red hills leading into New England proper as it lifts from the black soil plains.

Knowing what I know about the region, if he's found some of the granite sand up thataway the conditions could be marvellous.

Eureka, between lismore and Byron. Was once red soil farmland (mainly dairy) the prices went up when it became part of the Byron bay hinterland
Plenty of macadamias can be found here

No one owns this game folks! Does it make it harder to play with the present rules? Should we have a poll on what the rules should be? Should we just carry on?

Adjungbilly - Located between Gobarralong and Tumut at the foot of the Snowy Mountains. Beautiful country but fresh in winter.

Yulara, the gateway to the big red rock in the middle of Australia!

(sorry, it's back to 'a' for next town/place)
