My tips for this week are
SPLC
IONA
SLC
SEC
Ashgrove will be hard to beat at home but the return of andrew tully will definantly give SEC a boost in the forward's, If ashgrove cannot stop eddies backline, Clifton Setu will score tries all day long. Eddies by 7.

Don't be surprised if Padua picks up a victory in this one, good strong side, led by second year veteran Brent Fordyce, I wouldn't be surprised to see the old brown and gold get up this week

Padua came into the season with an impressive yet young outfit. But with the likes of Collins, Fordyce and Debortoli in the team, the expectations for this team were still fairly high. The Paduan forward pack may be a small one but is a strong one nonetheless. The key to victory this week is having young Daniel Best stand up. He is an aggressive player with much potential who exels in defensive contact but in recent weeks has lacked the ability to get around the park. If Daniel wants to progress his game to the next level he needs to work on his scrumming push, as against St Peters he continually got popped in the scrum as well as being battered around the ruck. He will need to step up his game this weekend if Padua wants to defeat a strong Lauries squad.

Is this the same Lauries squad that has lost its last 2 games by about 50 points?

I haven't seen any games, but purely on scores/results this must be one of the worst, if not the worst, SLC team ever.

Slippery game at Ashgrove today. Eddies dominated the scrums and rucks. Not sure what happened with the Ashgrove team as their backline lacked the line speed they possessed in the last games. Eddies used every opportunity they had gaining many metres in each play. Ashgrove seem to have been over committed in the rucks causing numerous overlaps during the turnovers. Eddies backline dominated in all areas of play and had great speed. They shut down all players particularly Mitch trelevan and Henry Devine. Number 13 and 15 stood out today. Great show of dominance from the eddies coaching staff as they lost their keyplayers to sporting scholarships.Eddies are hunting down an outright premiership.

An unusually poor performance from the Blue and Gold today, giving away far too many penalties and missing tackles. I don't know if it was the wet weather but they will need to step up their game if they want to take on Iona.
