I am failing to see the departments where GT will snatch victory from on Saturday...
Sorry Terrace, but the perennial losers of GPS rugby will not be able to repeat their successes of 2004 (at least not for another year). Am looking forward to a physical game, however, where nothing will be left in the tank. Will be good to see a crowd like those experienced in the mid 90s to early 00s back when Rocky was captain.

Nudgee by 12.

With all other contenders on 2 losses, and Southport and a loss and a draw, Nudgee has the pole position in the race to Round 9.
Terrace isnt on 2 losses...

RedBlack that is a nice quick outline of standings - you are sounding confident about a victory on Saturday....talk us through it

I haven't followed schoolboy rugby in years since my little brothers graduated but its a shame to see the old 3:05 or 3:15 time slot gone and rugby in term 3 now, why is that? Also what happens to the points with the 15 a game this week between gt and nc or is the game re scheduled?

Also can't wait for the game at Ross oval this weekend, it will be the first schoolboy game I've watched in years. And a reply to an earlier post the 2000 first xv match between nc and gt was televised on channel 7 I think as a special event, to bad the game ended up 66-0 to nc which was captain by rocky!

Bronson should be back he just had a badly corked leg at training. Tiaan had an issue with a calcified cork and that's why he has been out. Not sure on Russel.

There should be a lot of people at Miskin for old boys day at BBC. Looking forward to hearing about NC v GT.

Russell in for BBC apparently. NC at full strength. TSS definitely resting a few players

As much as I'd love for ^ to be true, I just plain forgot about Terrace. Of course they are contenders, I backed GT to trouble BBC if they got off to a good start, and I'm making the same prediction for this week. If Terrace can get points on the board early and pick up some momentum I'm certain they can push Nudgee for the win.

One call I'll make is that if Nikau Te Rupe doesn't pass/utilize his outside backs properly Campbell Magnay will shut him down quicksmart, and Nudgee will win the game. Nikau's decision making is holding back the team IMO

Thanks for the heads up though Red Black, I'll fix it up now

Excellent point King, and something I've noticed this season. He has gotten better, but a perfect example is his option to take a chip kick rather than pass to Jenkins last weekend. Selfish play that cost a try. Has no excuses to pass the ball wide with two very accomplished finishers outside him.

Also well done on the article, always like seeing some American style coverage in Aussie sports. The Yanks are sadly far ahead of us in this department.

That's correct. Saw him up at tgs, he's a great assist player and skilful. He will certainly trouble qld schoolboy magnay

Kudos on the article King Elvis. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

That being said, not really a follower of the NBA so had no idea what relevance that had to QLD GPS, was an interesting choice of examples. Other than a few little errors (i.e those mentioned by posters above and the NC home record, they did lose at Ross in 2011) it was a very good read.

btw GT should be cheering, that's a very high ranking.
