Apparently there is also a shuttle bus service from Broadbeach.

The local tourism operators need to get off their butts, and point out that it is actually easy to stay on the Coast and get to the games. Plus there are some f and b options at the Shopping Centre.
The Gold Coast 7's Promotions team really need to lift their game and get some punters through the gates next year if they expect to keep the event post 2014. It may even be too late to save it, given what appears to be disappointing numbers again.
I see the semi's for the cup are NZL v ENG and AUS v SAF.
ENG have often been the bogie team for the NZL, especially with their dogged attack and never say die approach to the game. I'm tipping the Soap Dodgers to win this one in their usual fashion - a Meat Pie after the siren.
The Saffers will be hard but are beatable in the other semi.
It will be AUS v ENG in the final, with ENG too tuckered out from the NZL game to be effective in the final against the Men in Gold.

Got four hours to recover, get them some powerade and keep them moving so fatigue doesn't set in.

I think the Schoolboys have been shafted due to the extra time in the Semi Final.
