I'd like to see the following team this week given our injuries:

Robinson
TPN
Kepu
Skelton
Douglas
Potgieter
Hooper
Dennis
Phipps
Foley
Betham
Beale
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
Carraro
Folau

Ryan
Tilse
Latu
McCutcheon/Hoiles
Gray
Crawford
Lance
McKibbin

Gray would be good to add some ball running to the forwards once Skelton comes off and Potgieter moves to lock.

Hoiles or McCutcheon provides backup for the rest of the backrow.

We're getting pretty thin on the ground and hopefully Folau is passed fit to play. So far it sounds like he will be.

This game is absolutely critical as is next weekend against the Force in Perth. Any more injuries from this game and we might have to fly some replacements across to Perth.

It is imperative that Ryan has a better performance in the scrums this week and that Foley kicks his shots at goal. We should never have been 12-3 down last week at half time.

Word out of Cape Town is that the bastardly mountain goats may rest JdV.

About time. There was lots of hoohah early in the year that he has been overworked and would be rested but Coetzee could not make a decision on what pizza to have so the first thing Smal might do is just that. Not the pizza, resting JdV.

I have no idea who will play for the Stormers, just know they will give it their best shot and they wasnt that far off against the Reds. Back home with the Newlands faithfull behind them they are due for a BIG performance against the Waratahs. Stormers by 50 at the very least.

I'm confused, Boet - not channeling the mocker gods this week?

Stormers: Good back row. Decent tight five. Fast outside backs, though with Grant there it remains to be seen if anything can be made of that.

Experience factor may count against them in midfield. IF the Tahs can hang onto the fucking ball and Beale accelerates into the line rather than stop-and-prop.

Deon Fourie at hooker is a worry. If he gives away as much possession as last week with crooked throws, the Tahs can look forward to a comfortable win.

Would have tipped the Stormers if JdV was playing. Tahs in a bashfest by 5.

Nah , Stormers at Newlands is a totally different kind of Storm. If we sort our lineout we'll be fine. Need to use Duanne more in 2. Botha is a good lineout jumper.

Quite brave but the correct one. He needs to freshen up for the Bok tests. Once Schalk is back Duanne also need a bit of the same medicine.

Alofa? Que? I thought he was listed as injured.

That looks like a stronger backline than the one last week.

Stormers under immense pressure to win a game. They're a different beast at home - I still recall that Chiefs game in 2013 where they played scintillating running rugby and beat them (so they're capable of turning it on). Should win 45-20 (6 of the Stormers tries to be from mauls to 2 tries to Izzy)
