You have some good players, but many of them are struggling for form or just starting to get a little long in the tooth. Based in the last 12 months, if I was to pick a Lions side now it wouldn't have a core of Welsh players.

Right. Onto next weekend. Who does cement pick for Tim Cymru.

15, 14, 11. 1/2p, cuthbert, and North? Or does he play Liam?

12,13. Roberts + North or Williams,

10, biggar or priestland?
9 Webb?

Then the back row

Faletau, lydiate, warbs?

Awj + ball orcharteris?

Gethin, hibbard and who?
Not easy without Jon Davies

But it did and it won. Thanks to Irish half backs.

I know George is good but can he play both wings? Cuthbert or liam. Who is less likely to something daft? Probably Sanjay. But cement prefers cuthbert. And if Rhys webb is injured. We're in the shit for a back up for pikey mikey

I want to know what Hook has done to piss Gatland off so much. as I see it you have 3 options:

1. Priestland; unpredictable and unspectacular even when good
2. Biggar; Sold and reliable if unspectacular
3. Hook; Very unpredictable, but very good when it goes right

Has a terrible tendency to crab sideways. Worst thing to be is a utility. End up being average at every position

Well here is the team. Suppose the bench is the best place for Hook as a utility player.

Leigh Halfpenny (Toulon), Alex Cuthbert (Cardiff Blues), Jonathan Davies (Clermont Auvergne), Jamie Roberts (Racing Metro), George North (Northampton Saints), Dan Biggar (Ospreys), Rhys Webb (Ospreys); Paul James (Bath), Richard Hibbard (Gloucester), Samson Lee (Scarlets), Jake Ball (Scarlets), Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys), Dan Lydiate (unattached), Sam Warburton (Cardiff Blues, capt), Taulupe Faletau (Newport Gwent Dragons).

Replacements: Scott Baldwin (Ospreys), Nicky Smith (Ospreys), Rhodri Jones (Scarlets), Luke Charteris (Racing Metro), Justin Tipuric (Ospreys), Mike Phillips (Racing Metro), James Hook (Gloucester), Liam Williams (Scarlets).

.. you may want to look where ref Quitendon looked & see what he saw, namely Wheel jumping off Oliver's shoulder for which he awarded the penalty. It's also often forgotten that Wales got a coupla foggy calls in their favour that day, too.

It doesn't change the fact that Haden will forever be remembered as a diving c***.

That's a strong backline for Wales. Davies is a strong addition.

They're missing a few key forwards though, but they have solid and settled loose forward trio starting and Tipuric is also a very good player off the bench.
