Anyone know if the new polo shirt is cotton or polyester?

The Smith twins, particularly Ruan (may have gotten him confused though), have improved I think, but they still need to show whether they can take that to Super Rugby.

And yeah, that Reds push over try was glorious, from memory it was most of the Reds starting front row vs the Brumbies reserve front row.

Bit worried over the hole Holmes and Owen have left, from form in the NRC I think that Faagase will get first shot. He seemed to be more consistent than Talakai.

Holmes has left? Did I miss something here? A damn big dent in the pack if true.

Sorry, I read Ash's post all wrong. Glad he's still on board but Still a big dent for seasons start.
Couldn't agree more. In a competition where momentum is often so critical to success, how well we deal with Holmes missing early I think will have a big bearing on our standing at the pointy end. If the young guys coming through can stand up and hold their own or better we will be well positioned I think.

Scrum was strongest with Faagase and Paraka on, whilst most people were laying praise on Paraka for his 2 try effort i actually think Faagase deserves a lot of credit playing tight-head against a Wallaby loose-head prop, his technical skills around the other facets of the set-piece like rolling maul were also quite good as well.

Love that footage. The City scrum was quite well drilled, and all 8 did their bit. Makes it so much easier for a prop to stay up if his loosies aren't disengaging their shoulder. I love the use of the 'little feet' also.

Santa Clause gave me one, 100% polyester.

 :(

I hate polo shirts of polyester, are very uncomfortable. I prefer cotton polo shirts because are more comfortable.

I don't understand why BLK made polo shirts of polyester if players don't use it for training. Polyester is good for running, but if you are not training then is unnecessary and uncomfortable

Did anyone catch the post on the Reds Facebook page about O'Connor arriving at Ballymore? I think the post could've been worded a bit better.

The "Who is looking forward to seeing him in action for the Reds this year?" line kind of opened the door for a bunch of pretty negative comments. The Reds social media team are usually a bit sharper than that!

Realistically any post about O'Connor opens them up to negative comments, this was one of the better ways to do it. Would've been much worse if they asked for peoples favourite JOC (James O'Connor) moments.

And you'd sort of think that Queensland would be one part of the world where polyester would be avoided.

I hope he's not taking that footwear onto the paddock.:)
I hope he finds some way to use the shoes to cut his hair.

I think the reds need to have a dress standard that includes sensible hair cuts, I will consider forgiving his previous indiscretions if he does not look like he did when he committed them. (think QC (Quade Cooper))

Surely a clean cut image is better for a "brand"?

Maybe the Reds could go retro with the GloWeave "Body Shirt" from the 60's , if you believed the ads .. the shirt coupled with flares and a liberal dousing of Brut 33 was said to prove irresistible to the ladies .

January sucks. There is no rugby news so we end up arguing over really pointless things like which team might have the best bench or the best props. There are soooo many factors in this issue that we really don't know anyone is going to go.
it's that time of the year when I love double clicking on the highlights of NZ v France, Cardiff, RWC 2007.

Reds v Chiefs, Lang Park, 2012, is a good one too!

Thinking about the potential of the Reds in 2015 takes up a lot of time as well. Can't wait for the Crusaders at Ballymore.
