Medial is generally a few weeks rest, depending on the grade. Has to be pretty damn bad for an op. Grade 1 is like 3 - 4 weeks I think, grade 2 like up to 8 or something. Guessing JOC (James O'Connor) had a grade 2, that would make sense with the timeline of him coming from France with a knock to his knee.t

They showed O'Connor warming up doing lots of drills changing direction. He didn't look overly comfortable so that explains why he was ruled out. Almost certain to be back next week I'd say so long as it doesn't take another knock.

Not that I am a physio or medico or anything.

Reds are reportedly put feelers out to Japan looking for a short term inside back.. Barnes isn't been considered since his team is in the finals and he is booked in for surgery.
