I'd say its probably time for the Crusaders next year to reinvent themselves with some new blood - I mean if Reid goes soon then it would be like a ship without the officers.

I doubt Read is going any time soon. He will be AB captain after McCaw retires. He still has a number of years left in him.

A good indicator was the fact he turned down a 7s spot for 2016 Olympics to stay focused on XVs. There will be 2017 Lions that he will want to lead the ABs to victory to also
