WTF "Drop out" from Kerevi?

Simple mistakes like that are the sign of a exhausted player. Shorks are not the only mob that have played themselves to a standstill.

Fat Lady singing.

Shorks 21 Reds 14.

That was about as good as a Reds side (short of QC (Quade Cooper)) as is available, up against a wounded and tired Shorks and still we see poor decision making and execution. Where does the buck stop?

Who is going to get the blame for this effort from the Reds?

Credit to the Shorks. They look absolutely stuffed and glad to be going home.

Reds need to be more alert the Sharks weren't taking the tackle and were just flopping to the ground. No offside or gate, should've just come around and picked up the ball.

That was more frustrating than usual. So many dumb dumb dumb decisions.

Genia simply has to stop crabbing and those aimless box kicks. No one can be seriously telling him the box kick is the right option.

McIntyre was very poor. His kicking is abysmal for a fly half.

And Hunt is really offering nothing. He hasn't been poor, but he is nowhere near his price tag.

Kerevi, Kuridrani and Hanson had ripper games. Chibba showed how much we'll miss him.

Kerevi and Kuridrani looked good. Plenty of potential there and able to beat first tackler. Will only get better. Handy for the future.

Bad luck reds, could've gone either way. If it's any consolation, sharks were due some luck.
I don't think luck played any role in the outcome. Game was there for the Reds if they had the composure that comes from a good season - a lot of the footy tonight was pretty loose or too individual from the Reds. Still plenty to do to get back on track. Some good efforts though. Reds FR were good (starters and reserves) Gill & Simmons tried hard, Kerevi some great individual stuff. JOC (James O'Connor) looked good when he got the ball and had a had a run despite the few errors. Just not coming together as a team, which I think was also the case last week.

those Reds outside backs could be murder if they had a straight running centre with some spatial awareness

Bieber with a prominent submission for Worst Kick in Rugby History

somehow when Tommy Lawton is biased for his Reds it is completely awesome and acceptable. How does that work?

I was referring more to the attitude. It still looks like a different team to other matches. I take your point but I think overall it was a better than average performance for the reds.

Crowd was reported at just under 22000. Didn't seem to be that high from what was on the TV.

Have the QRU headhunted the Tahs crowd counter guy who used to do the gig at the SFS from 2009-2012?

Bismarck was, by far, the best player on the park. Head and shoulders. Coetzee was very good too, and Cronje's kicking just showed up the inept kicking from the Reds and had the Reds pinned down. Why the Reds persisted with a kicking duel when they were getting so soundly beaten is amazing.

With supposed "stars" at 9, 13, 15 you want more. Our 9, 10, 13 and 15 were just below standard.

Big effort from Hanson, best player on the ground for the Reds. Slipper, Holmes, Simmons, Gill were also alright, Schatz ok too at times. In the backs, Kerevi was huge on attack.

I have been a huge critic of him but I though Schatz had good impact tonight.

As for JOC (James O'Connor), fucking shocking kick that in the end had no impact (were on track for losing BP - ended up with losing BP) on the end result but in general play actually had a red hot go.

Is he not having his impact of 2010-2012 or is it the shit team giving zero opportunity? He has shown glimpses at times but zero consistency.

When oh when will the incompetent QRU board end this excruciating facade that somehow there just might be some sort of future for the Reds and Richard Graham hand in hand?
