It's 4 wins from here and you're a World Champion. We need to put our best available every week.

If Izzy says he's good to go, get him out there.

I agree. Resting is not WCs, play your best team. Take all comers, and deal with injuries as they transpire. Losing helps nothing.

I like it. good consistency. Wales have named a strong starting side but we look to have the advantage on the bench. Let hope the guys from 16 to 23 get plenty of minutes in the second half.

I agree. Australian bench Is stronger. At least in terms of experience. Ours will have to step up

The only surprise is Simmons on the bench..........

Hopefully our lineout can function without him.

Not too unhappy with Wales' selection, pack definitely improved I'd have gone one further & started Owens at hooker too.
Not too many options behind the scrum, Cuthbert seems to be keeping his spot as we have no one else ?! Quite what Australia will do to him in his current form is bloody frightening.
Hope Anscombe has a decent game if only to give us another option in the back 3.
Would love to see Moriarty get a run at some point - he's a fiery bugger ! :)

With McMahon at 7 they have 4 good lineout targets as apposed to 3 so that might make up some of the difference of losing Simmons. Lineout aside, Mumm is an upgrade.

No Simmons is a mind-boggler. I would have bet my house he was the first lock named each match. No surprises the rest. Should be too good for Wales.

good news with Gits & Folou making the side. This will be the test of the Wobblies, this Wales side is no Eng. Win this and then the path forward lies ahead. (or some such nonsense!!)

I thought Simmons has actually been playing well in all facets, where as Douglas and Mumm haven't really impressed me much. Either way I think this team makes sense. McMahon allows us to play a similar game plan to having Hooper. Would've liked Tomane but Mitchell will more than do the job. Bring on Wales.

I am personally surprised that Sio is starting. Has started every game so far and will be needed in the finals series. Could have benefited from a short rest and Slipper is not a huge drop down at LHP, if at all.

He's young and Ledesma probably wants to get as many minutes as possible under his belt against quality THs before we get to the pointy end of this thing.
