The thing that has stood out to me, in both the England and Wales games, is how fit our team is. Even the props look lean. There's no way we hold Wales out like we did without being a team in supreme physical shape.

I think a lot of credit has to go to the S&C staff and I think the decision to spend those few weeks in the heat at Notre Dame going hard at each other was inspired.

Kane Douglas.

I don't think there is a lock in the world that works harder than this guy.

There was whinging and whining way back when he was first selected and people didn't understand what he does. It's all 100%

Some of his second efforts for a big unit are just amazing, tackles, gets up, puts pressure on and makes the next tackle

He was literally the difference between the Tahs in 2014 and 2015.

Payten (rightly) says this is getting ridiculous. Adds that he's not against someone from the losing team getting it but he needs to be a standout.

Wish he worked that hard when he was at Leinster. But that might have been partly due to Matt O'Connor's coaching.

And they didn't even have to do alpine and desert training. How could it be?

Just got back in and reviewing comments. A few asking how Wales failed to score when they dominated second half. Three reasons imo

First , great defence by Australia. Truely heroic.

Second. Bad luck. On another day any one of those times we crossed the line would've been a score.

Third. The one part of gatlands plan that failed: playing north at outside centre. He has one flaw. He can't/won't pass. So even when we were up two players we were effectively at 13. Watched it twice and I don't think he passed once. Only times the ball got wide was either down the blind side or when dr jaw tried missing him out. Don't think that experiment should continue

Honorable mention to Chris Malone as well, not only is Foley place kicking well, but his kicks from hand seem to have found another 20 metres length

I don't think they are any longer, still lacks distance compared to others, but his accuracy and execution is much much better, always finding space. Really good to see as I was always very critical of that part of his game.

Gits left boot has been a huge help too. Takes off so much pressure from Foley.
