That's the main point. What's the real situation of his injury? I'm very worried

There was talk before the game that there was still doubt he'd be right for the semi-final.

It sounds like he didn't train at all during the week leading up to the quarter final so was absolutely no chance there.

If we defend as passively as we did against Scotland then we'll get carved up. But I suspect that won't be the case. We got our bad game out of the way and now have a chance to rectify it.

Hard to know how Argentina will perform in this match. If they play as well as they did against Ireland then it'll be very tough. But they'll be so emotional and so desperate to make the final for the first time in their history that it wouldn't be surprising if they did a few stupid things.

There was a good 10 min where I thought this thread was never going happen.
And the wallabies bought me crashing back to earth last night.
Let's hope they got that shit out of there system because they will need turn up in this game... In a massive way....

If we play like we did last night and are as wasteful then we're going to get dusted. Argentina are the real deal now and I was mighty impressed with how they won the collisions with a very handy Ireland team and then played a smart game in the wider channels. They are a massive chance this week.

Scotty Sio would have learned a lot from the quarter final. He was unable to channel his brute strength due to Nel playing a great game.
Hope he's right and better for the experience.
Mind you the Puma scrum was not that great in an otherwise exceptional performance in their win.
That was our get through with a crap performance game against solid opposition. Time to move on to the task at hand.

You're right, sir. Today our scrum was quite bad but that was unnoticed, at least here. Lines out are not giving any security nor clear balls we they're ours.

I think Argentina's forwards must practice this stuff a lot.

Pretty good article about the rise of Argentinian rugby: http://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/feat...olden-generation-of-pumas-will-top-the-world/

So they're not going to be a flash in the pan basically. I think this tournament will prove to be their real graduation from plucky underdog to genuine power of the game.

Thank you very much for this. As it says "So what we did was to put together a collaboration of local provincial mayors, central government funding and IRB investment in basic but not elaborate centres. Good playing field, floodlights and decent gym and changing rooms." We have a lot to do, that's the more enthusiastic thing considering Rugby is still the fourth sport in Argentina. Thanks again.

I only watched the first half and I saw an Argentina scrum that completely dominated the French? Did that not continue?

I always thought they had one of the best scrums in the world.

Replayed the scrum that Sio was injured a handful of times to see if I could see what happened. It looks like Moore has rolled back over him during the collapse while Sio was still bound. It essentially has reefed his shoulder / arm back behind him and I suspect that it is some serious shoulder damage as opposed to an elbow problem. I am guessing that he has popped it but even if it is a strain I don't think we are going to be seeing anymore of him.
