It's strange that an article on the Rebels is making news in a Sydney paper whilst the Waratahs are yet to receive an article or headline in 2016.

I know teams can't control news articles, but they can control media access to their players. A friend of mine is a news reporter in Sydney, and when I asked why she never interviews on rugby players she said media access was just to difficult and that the ARU/Waratahs had in the past made the process really convoluted so they don't even bother any more. I wonder if this is still the case or if it's just a hangover from those days.

That is a fair photoshop effort on the headline image of Adam Thomson! Must have been mixed jersey day.

You may have even done better then just break even ;)

A $50 meal with a 10% surcharge is $55, but a 10% discount on a $55 meal is a saving of $5.50, so your meal potentially cost $49.50.

Can you tell I'm still on holidays...

I never thought of it like that. It depend on if they calculated the 10% more and less on the original amount and then added and subtracted those amounts. Then again, why am I worried?

The story ABC did on Rebels v Samoa was at Endeavour Hills Rugby Union Club. So say there is a fair chance the match will be there.

Think it was more the photo was lifted from the BaaBaas v Samoa game, get a recent shot of Adam not wearing Reds kit (wouldn't be dead seeing that crap). But it makes for a nice Segway.

Would have liked more Melbourne trial matches, but meh. Means I will have to travel more to see them.

BTW: anyone register their interest to go and see the Sunwolves v Rebels match?

I have - not sure yet, but we would love to go, will be a while before that opportunity comes up again...

I thought you might of. I'll probably register too, just see what the price is like. I recall flights being around $600 return when I checked a while back.
