God, this sort of shit level posting makes the GAGR jabs at Planet Rugby and the Silver Fern laughable.

To be fair the vast majority of shit posts on this forum have come from your compatriots all black magic and Andy_Auzzie
You need to recalibrate your shit meter and point it in the right direction.

I'm so sick of feeling like we are always a little (or a lot) behind when it comes to the niggle and the mild cheating, like milking foul play penalties and living our lives offside.

If I was cheika I'd be working on crafting the dirtiest possible gameplan for the next time we face them. I don't mean grabbing their nuts or gouging their eyes, but pretty much everything else. I'm not suggesting it will make the required difference but if it even helps a little.

I'm also sick of the expectation that we are to treat the ABs like gods at every opportunity. Fuck them and their little dance. For all the banter about how our ignoring the haka in the 90s 'backfired' because we got beat afterwards - no one talks about how we constantly get beat whilst facing up to it. I reckon we go back to the sheds during it rather than be a prop in their pantomime.

You realise that the IRB formalised the dance and response and deviation from the rule results in sanction.

1:13 on youtube if timed link doesn't work.

Looks like that must be it.

Doesn't loook like there's anything in it but Retallick sure goes down.

So it looks to me that Retalick was offside pulling Mumm away from joining the ruck and was sorted/pushed away, Mumm certainly pays no attention after breaking away and joins the ruck late. Reatlick takes a dive like Sanchez or Julian Savea.

I think you need to dilute to Kool-Aid a little. Cooper is not as awesome as you say, nor is Foley as bad. They both have good and not-so-good points about their games which is why neither has locked in the spot yet. I think Cooper is the better option going forward, but Foley is not a bad one.
Bollocks! ONCE AGAIN Foley was directly linked to two AB tries and missed conversions that he shouldn't have! The "ONCE AGAIN" part has to be said because if it was Cooper who played like that.......the streets would be rioting wanting him sacked! The amount of times that's happened is becoming laughable!
I will never step back from my opinion that Quade is by far the better pick in a team going forward simply because he can do things no one else can, he gets very little credit for doing every match what Foley gets praised for doing once(crisp flat sharp passes) like last night.

But I'll go a step further and argue Quade puts far more players thru gaps with those passes. Just because Foley whips off a beautiful pass.....doesn't mean it was with vision to the guy running into space!

As for the kiwi coaches comments about Cheik......well, he's just a smug Dousche for saying those things! I wonder if he would just shrug those things off if the tables were turned....Pah

Whish two tries? You realise that it was Hodge that was charged down?

As for goal kicking, I'll agree on that point, if Hodge is good enough to take kicks from 50-60 metres WTF is he not good enough to take all of them. From 50 he was closer than a couple of Foley's.

Is it possible to talk about something other than the Referee/TMO, or Foley vs Quade?

Rule 10.

MIght be time to move on and lock the thread down if no one has anything new to post about.

It would be a shame if we can't behave ourselves and the thread gets locked down before @ForceField completes his analysis and posts hiv valuable Ruck and Maul stats package.

Geez some of you Wallaby fans ar behaving fucking pathetically.

I'm the first to have a dig at kiwis who carry on like pork chops but generally a couple of guys are fairly debating the merits and you mob are cracking the shits when they respond to your comments with reasonable facts. Then go on to attack the personally.

Letter of the law it's a fair ruling.

I am dirty with the decision because this practice of "escorting" is coached into all teams and worse examples regularly go unsanctioned. Argentina for example last game were much more blatant.

As pfitz says, because a try was scored it was scrutinised more closely unfortunately.

But stop fucking carrying on. This isn't the massive injustice you all think it is. The constant whinging over officials every fucking loss is absolutely pathetic.
Dam right it's pathetic.......about time the officials picked their game up hey. The big hint here is that it's not only wallaby supporters complaining......

not to mention in the lead up to that first still or during that time -- Savea is pulling on DHP's arm

What I don't understand is that a player following the play cannot change his line to better position himself in support. DHP should have go to the outside line in support of Speight. Savea was taking out the support player or preventing him being in position to support is the other way of looking at it and the benefit you would think should be with the attacking team.

Just saw a video tweet interviewing Cheika at the airport, he said that Kerevi's injury seems more serious than first thought. Still don't know what part of the body it is though, getting scans tomorrow.

OK...just watched the game:

The only person who should be blamed for the Speight non-try is DHP. Dumb dumb move to run into Savea and the debate over whether Savea would of caught him or not becomes irrelevant. It's pretty basic knowledge that you can't run into and bump a player chasing the ball carrier. This isn't gridiron. Guarantee if that was an AB doing that, this thread would be full of comments about how dirty the ABs play and how they are the best cheaters in world rugby etc etc.

It was an unfortunate call but the correct one and DHP is to blame.

I still don't get the Folau hate from some posters. He would be a superstar in the ABs because he'd actually get support runners playing off him and making the most of his half-breaks and broken tackles. And expecting off-loads from him.

How does Mumm still get selected?!

Pocock is so important to this team. Pocock, Fardy, Timani might be the best combo going forward.

Kaino is a beast. Missed a couple of tackles last night but you certainly know about it when he doesn't.

Have never been much of a Matt Todd fan but what a bloody good game he had.

Finally, Kerevi could be really really good. Guys - please don't jump on his bandwagon and start expecting him to be a Ma'a Nonu or a Sterling Mortlock just yet. Give him time to keep learning the game at this level, allow him to make mistakes and have a few shockers but keep him, Folau, DHP and Speight around. Bring Genia back to Super Rugby with QC (Quade Cooper) and you start having the look of a killer back-line.

Ditto for Timani....

The 1st and I think it was the second last try aswell. Both came directly from stupid shallow kicks that didn't go out and put the Abs on hot counter attack and put singled out players under huge pressure. One was a missed tackle, the other a missed tackle that really wasn't a tackle chance to begin with. Maybe I should be happy Foley didn't get charged down at least this week.....giving that job to the right footed fresh jocks to get charged and scored from! It's just a mess in my book!
I'll be interested in seeing what international teams become interested in Foley in the future, and for how much. Good to get a rough indicator on monetary value from where the rest of the world actually rates him. For me he's just a great solid Super rugby player.

Anyway.....it's looks like people are getting stroppy with others having an opinion and wanting there 2c chat(heaven forbid more then the usual dozen members have a chat :/....)
