Looking forward to the womens exhibition game NSW v QLD.

My seahorse team mates Kate Gilbert, Mel Howard, & Sarah Halvorsen are playing. I would have posted the whole NSW squad but I cant seem to find it.

Watched a few games on TV so far, and initial impression is although still not my game, it not bad for this time of season, and actually for me preferable to 7s. Notice teams that seem to begin to go ok are ones that stop trying to play 7s and start taking it into contact.

Hell and looks like usual suspects are out trying to blame refs etc, even this early in a not very serious comp!!

Brumbies in after the hooter thanks to Alexander chasing a kick very hard. Toulon the better side, but Brumbies go in 5 - 0 ahead at the half. Toulon will wonder what they did wrong.

Good to see the Brumbies keep scrambling in defence and not give up.

I have and will continue to admit that the Tahs have been gash so far. But the refs have been woefully inconsistent which ruins the spectacle in my opinion.

Brumbies start the second half with a try, simple backline move left a yawning gap.

Poor Walker has dropped a lot of ball this game.

Alexander has been the best on field, he is loving it out there.

Gorumaru still a waste of a spot in this type of game.

Women's game is willing, 0 - 0 after 5 mins. Go the good girls in Red!

Phew! The womens game is a tough encounter. I'm putting on my Clint Eastwood voice as I say "Its hard to type amongst all this excitement".

Unsurprising, that's an NRL reporter. Although the crowd isn't huge, they took some effort to only show the empty part in the sunlight in their photos.

Gees the Reds run a poor defensive pattern for this game. They bunch in and leave a two or three man overlap all the time. There's too much room to drift so it's a massive fail.

Digby in early, missing a heap of pace but still too good for some poor Reds defence.
