I don't think many outside of Victoria understand that Union has a better foot hold in Victoria than League. I am all for the increased number of league player in Victoria, the more kids playing any form of 'rugby' going forward is going to be advantageous for either the Rebels or Storm. One good thing we do have here in Melbourne is the League and Union communities aren't at war with each other. Their interests obviously stay with each sport but i truly don't think either is out to destroy the other.

Hey mate. Thanks for replying.

Maybe take this argument to another thread? We've got a coach sacking to celebrate.
Looks like.He is leaving the sinking ship. He must know the rebels are being cut. Great news

Plenty of current and ex-Rebel players in test match action this weekend:

Cooper Vuna named on wing for Tonga v Wales this afternoon.

Keita Inagaki, Shota Horie (captain), Amanaki Mafi and Kotaro Matsushima all named in starting XV for Japan v Ireland.

Ben Volavola in Fijian squad to play Italy. I assume based on last week he will be at 10.

Scott Higginbotham at 8 for Wallabies plus whomever is named on bench.

I must admit I have been a little underwhelmed with the number of tests being shown on Foxtel including BeIN during the test window.

I haven't been able to find coverage of Tonga v Wales, even though All Blacks v Samoa is live.

How is it that K.C. Vuna is able to play for a second country?

Tonga v Wales is live on BeIN Sports 3 this afternoon.

All Blacks v Samoa is on Foxsports at 5:30 today.

Australia v Scotland on Foxsports 1 tomorrow at 3pm.
NZ Maori v B&I Lions on Foxsports 1 tomorrow at 5:30pm.

BeIN Sports 3 has a lot of the World Club 10s this weekend.

South Africa v France on Foxsports 3 at 1am Sunday morning.

I can't see anything for Fiji v Italy or Japan v Ireland.

You are funny. Do you really think we want to keep Tony after this season?

One team is publicly announcing that they are signing players and is engaging in searching for a new coach. The other isn't.

The two options left are the Force goes or we keep 5 teams. I hope it is the later.

This debacle started last year, became more intense in April so its a perfect example.

See, I think you are stretching it a bit, there was rumblings but as a Force fan we have been living with this kind of talk for years so it didn't actually become a thing until it was actually announced in my mind. Just my opinion of course but I believe everything before that was rumblings and wouldn't have actually affected the players until then.

Players were well aware of the situation so he would have been well aware when negotiating a contract.

Knowing the two teams on the chopping board and that the Rebels had Safa and Korobiete made it an easy choice even if Force did survive.

Argentina v England is also on live whenever, can't be arsed looking for it atm. But with that amount of rugby on Fox, who'd be without it?:)
