I swear Banks signed for 1 year (2017) and haven't heard anything about his re-signing. But this confirms he's still with us!

Nah, we have Fainga'a, Abel and Mann-Rea..... We do have room for another lock though.

yeh but mannrea won't be around for much longer. Better to have a 4th hooker for 1 season, then turn around next season needing one more but the good available ones are overseas.

Mann-Rea re-signed on a 2 year deal so he'll be around until 2019.........

Rangi is 29 and Arnold is 27. I don't think they fit the "young" description. Only young forward left is Koteka at 23. Unless they are going to sign a development player.

Lilo's best rugby has been at 10. He's been shuffled around, and is a very good 12, but he's best at 10.

You could be right, Brumbieman, but even if you are, I feel more confident with Hawera on the field than Godwin. Maybe we do to him what we did to To'omua and play him at 12 with Lilo at 10.

As an Australian Rugby fan I'd really like to see that. It'd mean that at the Tahs we'd have Foley-Beale as our dual playmakers, Brumbies would have Lealifano-Hawera, Reds would have Cooper-Paiaua'a and the Rebels would have Lance-Hodge. If we're all building from the same blueprint that means good things for the Wallabies.

Sione was in the bloody team of the season for the NRC, and we already have Sio and Mayhew. I don't understand this signing.

I assume the EPS contract is worth more than the Academy?

If so I would be a bit peeved if I were Sione or Lloyd.............
