Cheika as head coach sets the standards and drives the culture. Cheika throws tantrums, blames the refs, super coaches and anyone else but himself. If the players see cheika taking no responsibility and accepting no accountability, why should they. I would argue that the wallabies are infected...

At this point, this game is a bit of an anomaly and one swallow does not make it summer. I think the coaching staff should still be on the hot seat. Let's see how the Wallabies go against the saffas and argies before declaring the coaching staff safe, but this game was a step in the right direction.

Great effort by the Wallabies tonight, unfortunately came up short, but for 80mins they stuck it to the Kiwis. I just hope they didn't play their "final" and struggle to back it up against the Saffas and Argies.

Well, I think the game is showing that the Wallabies are better for the run last week and that perhaps, the benefits of a trial match before the 1st test outweigh the risks.

All good points and they probably form the basis of the decision of the arbitrator. Using new agreement probably would have helped the aru in the public selling of the decision and perception.

What was said by Sanzar, as Braveheart said, isn't important to the case, as that will be determined by the facts. The statement potentially shows that publicly at least, Sanzaar do not regard this as a new contract. It also shows that publicly, the Aru and Sanzaar aren't necessarily playing...
