Surely these mid season test could have been scheduled for a Sunday afternoon

The carnival has been the same day as i said first day of 2nd term school holidays every year. Plenty of u 12 teams coming from Brisbane for this day. Our club in the 12's is scheduled to play Caboolture, Brothers & Sunnybank

The City v Surf carnival is an annual event held at the same time each year. First Saturday of the 2nd term school holidays, i believe this is the 4th year of its existence. It just surprises me that the ARU dont do any due diligence

Former Knox Grammar Coach Chuck Ardron would have to be one of the best schoolboy coaches of the last 15 years. he won premierships in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2010 from memory. he also had a year sabatical coaching the Gordon 1st XV.

Very true, im think back to my days playing CAS rugby and we trained 3 x a week and didint start that til the begining of term 2 ( about 5 weeks from 1st game) How times have changed!

As a former 2ndXV player at a CAS school in the very late 90's i agree with you 100% i was over looked for a 1stxv position as it appeared that the guy who took the position ( a mate of mine) his parents were very close with the 1st XV coach after leaving school we both headed to our local club...

Yeah its all true and he is on a $180,000 salary as well.
