Couldn't be prouder of those Terrace boys. I know we didn't win the premiership but to beat Nudgee in the final round of the season must feel amazing for them. Well done to State high on the premiership and Nudgee/TSS on giving it their best as well. What a season of GPS rugby!
Probably? I think everyone is getting too far ahead of themselves. BSHS have lost ONE game all season. Don't get me wrong every terrace and nudgee boy will be part surfer this weekend but a betting man would surely back state high for the solo title.
Wow. Truly amazing. I can't believe 4 non-presbyterian schools are still in the running for the premiership at the end of round 8. You just never know whats going to happen in GPS rugby :')
TGS take the game seriously. They field their full strength team against downlands every year, giving them a bit of a disadvantage having to play a 9 game season.
Really King? You can't think of any other examples? Not even a certain ex-churchie playmaking flyhalf who won the first premiership in 20 years for your old school just a few years ago?

Shouldn't you take into account how many players form the team though? Assuming something like 19/Rugby team and 14/Soccer team the numbers come out to be: 551 Rugby boys vs 518 Soccer boys
As Warren said you are clearly ignoring the fact that Grammar bought a premiership 3 years ago - but also that Grammar have always been pretty terrible at rugby, even before scholarships. A quick glance at the history books will tell you that Nudgee/Churchie combined make up about half of GPS...
