Waratahs v Rebels - Sunday 21 May - Allianz Stadium

Despite all the pessimism and the extreme likelihood of getting wet, I am glad to be going to the game. My recently moved out 19 year old bought us tickets! Love all the banter at the games.

Hi Catchnpass, you make a fair point. I don't know how much Uni apportions to the women and girls activties. I'm not involved with the club. I'm just a mum. The cost structure is a code wide problem if we want to keep this great game going. I am willing to work towards that.

    School Girl Rugby

Hi Catchnpass, I am the mother of a girl who will try rugby. We are neither from the north shore nor the east. However I will find that $50. She will wear that tshirt, I guarantee it. I'm not sure why you feel you need to be so negative about this. It is a massive improvement, which...

The second thing is an initiative from SJRU which is kicking off fairly shortly. I don't seem to be able to link the flyer, but clubs such was Gordon, Norths, Parramatta, Eastwood, Manly West Harbour, Randwick, Warringah, Penrith, Southern Districts and Sydney Uni have or are developing...

    School Girl Rugby

Hi everyone, two things I want to link tonight. The first is Shannon Parry's piece which was published on Facebook on the Qantas Wallabies account (and maybe elsewhere). Hopefully you can access that here: http://www.rugby.com.au/news/2016/04/26/00/02/parry-a-letter-to-my-16-year-old-self...

    School Girl Rugby

NeilC I can only speak for what I know of Sydney (which is by no means a lot). I think several clubs are trying to sort out girl's 7s sides and this starts at under 14s, so girls may be able to play from 12 plus. The big variable is the numbers, but momentum seems to be speeding. Good luck...

Hi Blindsider. . . . but did any of their dads run on like Harinordoquy's or George Norths (didn't actually know about the second one until trying to remember the first guy's name)!

Thank you all so much for your comments. Petersham is how far inner west we are, Blindsider and via Sydney Uni Women's Rugby and the NSWRU I have been put into contact with Maroubra. My daughter now has a mouthguard and some boots and she's ready to try herself. First training next week!

    School Girl Rugby

Hi Blindsider, We are inner west Sydney. Big issue seems to be her age, if younger she could play with the boys, if older with a women's team. As I understand it there are some developments going on, but was trying to get a feel for whether other girls of a similar age might be interested...

    School Girl Rugby

Hi all, testing the waters here. Unsure whether this is the right place to put this but (seems the most appropriate place) I'm sure I'll be corrected if needed. I have a 14 year old daughter who is very keen to play. I have had some good feedback from Sydney Uni and also from the NSWRU. Anybody...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2015

There would not have been one more play, the kicker has 90 seconds to kick the ball for the conversion. I don't think anyone but the referee knew what time was left after several stoppages. Rest assured that the Newington boys will not be unscathed. No need for any more comment on here.

Actually Lee, I don't mind working with Azzuri. Could be more balanced. I can dovetail our reports/photos. I will pm you with my personal email address so that you can tell me about how the photos work.

Hey Mr Grant I'm likely to be at the New/Kings game on Saturday and can provide comments (if not required on the BBQ) from 3rds up if you like. What you choose to do with them is up to you.
