I thought this was a schoolboy rugby forum. Your comments are way out of line. Moderator? You are obviously not one of the mature and sportsman like Padua people. You also don't let facts get in the way way of your story. Leave the 15 year old kid alone, get off your high horse and do something about that enormous chip on your shoulder.

Any information on how the Laurie's 15A's got on?

Not sure about Laurie's game but was disappointed although not suprised to see the grubby behaviour from ashgrove 15a team. Padua were expecting this from one kid in particular and he certainly delivered- lots of shoving and gobbing off/looking for a fight although word on the street was ash wouldn't play him given the reports from Eddie's coaches from last term of apalling sportsmanship- backchatting coaches and refs/storming off the court mid game (within the AIC Comp but different sport). Seems to have slotted in nicely with the ashgrove win at all costs attitude. Some serious tough love is needed here!

Well done to the entire Padua team who proved the more mature and sportsmanlike on the day.even when they were losing. They may not have come away with a win but the coaches and parents should be very proud of them.

The most pressing thing from the Iona / MCA game is the wellbeing of the Iona lad who was taken off in an ambulance. Thoughts are with you and your family mate.
MCA was dominant across the park with the team being substituted over the last 15 min. Best for MCA 2, 9, 12 and 7.
Well played to both teams.
MCA prop and regular captain looking at a return abt round 5 from all reports.
Any other results.

Any word from St Pats v Peters?
Assume Pats would have dominated.
Surprised by the Padua v Eddies scoreline based on last weeks results.

Got out to watch Padua vs St Edmunds today and was suprised about the st Edmunds team. There forwards were very strong and had some big bodies. However there backs lacked skill. Standouts were the 1, 2 and 15.
Padua on the other hand didn't play there best footy. There forwards are still struggling to monster the opposition. The backs didn't look as good as they were last week and looked like a different backline to last week. However Padua came home with the win and in the end were too good for St Edumunds, stand outs were the 15 and 12. Both players who should make the AIC team at the end of the year.
Can someone tell me where the 12 was from last week who was very solid in defence. Also does the flanker and number 10 for the 2nd XV have current injuries? I am very shocked on why these two are not in the starting XV. The flanker was very solid in defence and ran hard lines off there 9. The 10 had the best passing and kicking game out of all the teams I watched today setting up most of their teams try's.

I thought there was some big time Rugby League Carnival on this weekend ? Maybe that's where the Padua boys were ?

Lauries vs Villa just never really fired. Both teams made some silly errors and ball handling was an issue. I think it was also the referees first game. Villa put on two early tries to have Lauries rattled but a try and a few penalty goals from Lauries 15 kept them in the game at half time. Lauries seemed to be pushing passes unnecessarily and were turning over a lot of ball. The 9 has a good kicking game but kicked far too often. Once again, cheap turnover of ball. That will come back to bite Lauries in the ass against the better teams. Villa tried very hard and their back row really stood up today. Best for Villa 6 and 8. Best for Lauries 15 and 7.

Yeah best wishes to the young IONA player, unfortunately for IONA a key player too.
IONA not even in the same class as MCA, best on field MCA 7, intersting to see MCA play a far more attacking style than what they have become known for, guess maybe due to the opposition today. Pretty poor game in the first, but was glad to get there early to watch the 2nds which was a great battle even though the score blew out a bit in the end to MCA favour the 2nds for both colleges and be congratulated for playing a tense battle.
Apart from that game MCA far too strong across all games. Somethings never change.
