The little foray in to court today for the Jones V Brumbies saga part XVII dint come to much.
It is worth noting that this is still about the injunction, not the serious stuff yet. The subpoenas have been stayed due to it being only about the injunction and a decision should come nest week.
As expected, as this goes on there are some interesting things that will be said that maybe in hindsight could be quite revealing.
I do like Jones position about making the contents of the report available to members: but some don't share that view and are vigorously opposing it!
Noting this is the Brumbies board v Jones, this snip is rather interesting: Re the KPMG report - Steven Whybrow – barrister for the University of Canberra, its vice-chancellor Stephen Parker, former ACT Labor deputy chief minister David Lamont, and Joe Roff – described the report as "highly inflammatory and seriously contested".
