Clarke can be replaced in the squad after the start of the tournament so I doubt an injury replacement is a problem.
Even with a pre-existing injury?

Will be interesting to see what the selectors do for the next match against England. Warner and Smith look in need of a rest, Bailey will serve a one match suspension for slow over rates, Cummins looked fast but ineffective, Sandhu was excellent, and we really missed Doherty tying down an end in overs 20-35. Are either Johnson or Hazlewood fit?
.
So anyone fortunate enough to watch ABDV last night? What a phenomenal innings. I've only seen highlights and there were some ridiculous shots in there. What a player. What an eye.
Marsh missed the matador with an elbow injury but it shows who the selectors will be picking if Clarke isn't fit.Squad announced for next ODI in Hobart on Friday.
In: White & S.Marsh
Out: Warner & Bailey.
I'm guessing that means we'll see: Finch, S.Marsh, Watson, Smith, White, Maxwell, Faulkner, Starc, Cummins, Doherty. 12th: Sandhu.
Really scratching my head on the Marsh elevation, did he even play in the Matador cup last season?
Surely Dunk, Ferguson, Burns, Khawaja or Carters would have made more sense.
That selection stinks. Does he know a selector or something? . oh wait.

Bit short on strike bowlers I think. Hazelwood probably should come in at the expense of one of the all rounders (Maxwell my preference to be replaced).

I'd like to see Chris Lynn given a go as well if an opportunity presents itself.
