Only 5 players have ever kicked a goal for the Rising: Jack Debreczeni 75, Ben Meehan 10, Lloyd Johansson 5, Telusa Veainu 1, Mick Snowden 1.

With only Lloyd Johansson on the Rising list and likely to be on the bench looks like we will have a new goal kicker. I know Goddard kicks goals but he is also likely to be on the bench. Anyone have any ideas who our first choice goal kicker is likely to be?

No Jeffries, No Jordy, No Pat, no Cruze, no Tumualealiifano are the ones that are missing at a glance

While Rory O'Connor is the most interesting inclusion.

Highlander35 Rory O'Connor did come down here on an injury cover contract during the season. Maybe he impressed and he is only 22 or 23.

It would be a shame if a flyhalf couldn't kick, hopefully McGregor can take that duty.

Paisami kicked for the Samoan U20s. Maybe if he gets a start or two.

Otherwise not a clue. If worst comes to worst, it should be an opportunity for a Maddocks, or even a Stirzaker, to increase what they offer to the team.

Make sure we all get down this weekend too.

Supporting two Victorian teams at once: nothing better.

Will be interesting how close this team resembles the team for round one in Perth. If it is, likely to struggle against the likes of Spirit. Either way, should be a good game tomorrow v the Axemen.

What position does Sione Taufa play? If he happens to be a prop, I can't wait to see him line up against Sione Taufa playing prop for the Vikings.:)

3 scrummies and no backup flyhalf - it's like TT picked this team before he left :)

Maybe Maradona will be reserve flyhalf? Or maybe Toby Smith?

I thought Maddocks looked the best of the Rising back starters, Harry Goddard showed quite a bit coming off the bench. Liked Fereti's game, but he still wants to play like a back sometimes.

Stirzaker the favoured speed bump of the Axemen time and time again for Backs and Forwards alike. Think he's in trouble.

I thought we were reasonably good overall but quite sloppy and drifted in and out of the game too easily: having said that, it also describes the Rising in round 1 of all three seasons so far.

Hoping McGregor is fit enough to play a good chunk. Paisami struggled with the kicking duties (No problems there for Harry though, quality young lad), and with those 4 boys in the centre/wing slots, Lloyd isn't good enough to be number one playmaker at least at this level.

Injury concerns as far as I could tell were Esei with a wrist and Maddocks with a Hammy: they were the only two I saw grimacing on or off the field: others were pulled of by medicos and/or iced but continued being chipper throughout.

13, 8, 6 and 3 played well on the Axemen side at least for mine: but with little Knowledge of non-Box Hill players, Interchanges rather than Benches and lots of sharing numbers on both sides, I can't offer much more than that.
