This will be an excellent game - effectively playing their grand final. I cant see any other school getting within 20 points of these 2 teams from hereon.

This game is definitely going to determine a lot for the year. Nudgee have a number of boys out with injury / illness which means a number of new faces bought up for it. Tough thing to do.

Paulo - rolled his ankle against BBC and tried to come back too early.

What's happened to Malik Paataanga and Parker Montagu? A lot of names missing from this team..

Your Kidding.Wilkins is injured and he does not pick Swain ,Gunter or Mclean.?
Churchie by 15 and Mclean to score 3 tries in the 2nds.Not happy.

I'd be a bit careful with mentioning the staff and coaches Digby, boys have gotten in trouble from their respective schools for slandering players and coaches.

I've heard a story from Churchie two years ago where moderators gave the boys IP address to the school, found out he posted from a Churchie laptop and the boy was suspended. If you're unhappy with coaching decisions that's fine and you can voice them, but don't take it too far. Just a friendly warning

Digby, I think you have to go with the coaches call. If the McLean lad is not contributing the way the coach wants - then he has to be left out.

From what I hear that exact team played a lot better last week than the team that played against NC the week before.

Makes perfect sense to me to keep the team in tact for ACGS - who haven't been the most consistent team in the comp this year (touching up NC, but losing to BSHS - who BBC beat comfortably).

Don't be too surprised either, if NC are much harder to beat this week than what most people think.

Be great for the comp if they get up...

Thanks for that - didn't know we were on the Weather Channel Forum.but useful info none the less - might head to the beach on Sunday.

Quote from Light

Curious to see what the weather brings, Nudgee will be hoping for rain so Mafi and the big piggies can assert dominance and play field position and forward pick n drives, whereas I don't think TSS will mind either way. Dry weather should mean a high scoring affair.

I predict Nudgee will win every game not on TSS main oval. Average margin 30+.
Nudgee to lose every game on TSS main oval. Thats 16A's & Opens 1 - 4.
At Nudgee last year NC similarly didn't win 1 of these games.

If I was coaching BBC today; my game plan would be to take

on Churchie in the forwards. ;)

Last week, Nudgee bombed four tries by stupid knock ons.

They scored their only try with a simple pick n drive (very soft).

Control possession by being first to rucks and mauls.

Keep Churchie contained in their half with tactical kicking (Bowyer).

ACGS greatest strength is their backline - Mason,Tanuvasa, Perese.

Remember, you can't score points if you haven't got the pill.

BBC must maintain territorial advantage.

Frustration will set in and cheap penalties will prevail.

Hope Josh Bowyer has his radar boots on.

Stick to this plan and you are well on the way to victory. :D

Churchie have some quality forwards. Harley Fox has been a standout at the back of the scrum with Will Bailey also playing great. They will strong.
