edit: and WTF goes on about Horie, he is just absolutely the best hooker we have, was so last year as well and yet sits out most of both seasons on the bench while our line out fuckups continue !

Given that his contract status is unsure (as per Tex's list in Rebels 2015) and we have 31 players confirmed we should have the space for him. If he is sticking around then he should be getting FAR more game time. His little outside centre cameo that set up the try is testament to him skill and ability.

As for the lineouts on Friday just made me sad. Don't think jump timing is an issue, think Pat might need to work more on technique (timing and throw).

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else but Laurie Weeks played his 50th Super Rugby game for the Rebels on Friday night. Well done Laurie.

i did say the last year, which was by far the worst year for attacking football from the wallabies ~ one try per game.

He is a joke, TT should NEVER have been hand balled to the Rebels. ARU has completely destroyed the development of the Rebels and helped turn fans away from the team as well.

TT is not good enough to coach Super Rugby, he couldn't even manage to make the knock out stages of the Heineken Cup when he had control of Munster and he had the team the won the final the previous year.

Was never going to be good enough to compete on this level.

Interesting that Foketi has a seat on the plane, considering he's reported to be leaving.

Male Sau seems to have been dropped, he isn't on the injured list.

Came off the bench on Friday - I thought he was fit. Would have preferred to see big Max or Eddie as a backup front rower on the tour

from the rebels website mcgahan says they will fly players over to pretoria if necessary.
you need 13 forwards in the 23 and thats all they have taken WTF happens if someone is hurt in training or warmup. more great thinking from TT
perhaps meehan gets the reward for loyal service ?
foketi to the bench ?
woodward to FB or out? ?
jack d to the bench or another chance ?

The NZ sides are all in contention for finals.

The SA sides don't want to finish bottom and have to face the play-off against the Kings.

If the Reds generated any sort of form, it was inevitable eventually.

When the sharks start the du plessis brothers and Alberta on the bench they weren't playing to win. SA conference looking after it's own interests.

Its a conspiracy theory without legs. The Stormers can't make the finals, they are only playing for pride. The loss means that its now likely that the Sharks will get a home quarter final and be on the road for the rest of the finals. That was not in SA's interests, they could well end up with no team making the semi's and if they get there they will be all away games.

Major miscalculation by White. He thought the Cheetahs were easy meat and wanted to rest players for the last game against the Stormers which will be a titanic struggle. Never pays to be overconfident.

Honestly? You want the Shorks to finish 2nd, so that whoever comes back to play the Tahs is coming from across the Indian Ocean.

Of course, this is assuming that the team is a NZ one rather than an Australian one.

Chaps, the annual member survey is now online.

Without obviously prejudicing the outcome, may I be so cheeky as to suggest we err on the favourable side for the questions relating to RaboDirect's involvement with the club and their brand image?

It won't hurt to give the club a bit of a leg-up in their annual report to the major sponsor ;)
