Not taking the three points in the dying minutes of this game was an absolute howler of a decision.

Whilst Simone should have scored after the siren to secure the losing bonus point, it should have been wrapped up with the penalty goal.

Clearly the Tahs are having a diabolical season, but we're in a race to beat the Brumbies. A bonus point could prove vital if the season improves.

Hooper and Latu are the only players really keeping the Tahs competitive at the moment. Our forward pack is proving very ineffective and the effort in defence has been diabolical. It was much better in the second half, but the number of times the defensive line was fractured, slow and lazy in the first was just so poor.

I reckon the Tahs have given up a try in the first five minutes of quite a lot of games this season. I am fairly certain we have conceded the first try in every game, including the two we won.

We should have scored that final try. Real bummer

Things do not appear to be well in the Tahs camp at the moment. The boys don't seem to be firing and still look lost. Hopefully at the end of the season will see the end of a few coaching staff especially Gibson.

^^^^^^^^^^^ I imagine he most likely would:

"A Player who has received three yellow cards or three Warnings (or any combination thereof) arising from matches in the same Super Rugby Competition shall be required to appear before the Foul Play Review Committee appointed for the Match during which he last offended."

Subject of course to the secret Law 6.1.99(z) which exempts any player born in or currently representing New Zealand :)

If SANZAAR remains consistently inconsistent, Beaudan should get a one match suspension if Jordie Barrett cops a yellow card as well.

Far too straight forward. Jordie Barrett will do something naughty, the SANZAAR officials will get confused, cite Beauden Barrett instead, then fill out the wrong name on the suspension paperwork and end up banning Scott Barrett, who didn't even take the field that week.

SAAAAANZAARRRGH would probably cite this guy in that case, which would be awkward for a number of reasons.

It was always going to be patchy , the 'canes match is the perfect metaphor for this season, lots kids with potential, no great depth, so we play absolute crap for 40 minutes the come out and do OK

Some weeks we are going to better and just when we get any resemblance of hope, we will be kicked in the balls again

you're right.

i might commission a new banner to walk under for the next home game "abandon hope all ye (tahs fans) who enter here"

Anyone have a video link for the Kepu dangerous tackle? Can't remember it.

Also, i thought there was a mandatory suspension period for red cards? Guess not.
