Yeah it doesn't make any sense eh. Genia had only been good off the bench.

Kerevi was again quite poor tonight. Doesn't have a clue when to pass to supports and even though he breaks the defensive line (not so much today), most of his work comes to nothing as it ends in a turnover.

Yeah, right. We didn't win. To win the world cup AND beat NZ is a thing that has only happened once.

Indeed, the consistency in selections have been.... bizarre.

If we had won tonight I think any combination of Genia/White with Lilo/Foley/Toomua would've happened next week, depending on the alignment of Saturn.

Mate, you had a go at me for misinterpreting your post, called me a precious twat and told me to fuck off.

I'm sorry I didn't understand your original post, I don't care If you don't use grammar, but you must know if you don't it makes it harder to understand and open to misinterpretation?

Yeh I can’t argue against any of what you said above - I need to be better than that I agree

Except that Kiwi pro coaches are used to working with guys that have come up in the best system in the world. Like their cattle can kick and pass, do complex shit like that.

We need someone that can take a bunch of dodgy scrubs and turn them into something respectable, operating under fairly significant constraints.

    I blame Pulver.

It has seemed pretty obvious to me that Cheika’s package was highly leveraged to the success at this World Cup. That has allowed him a lot of leeway with experimentation with both personnel and tactics. The positive from that is that he has built a lot of depth. The biggest and most obvious negative is that the team has zero cohesion.

I agree with most that we have a major skills deficit which has been a couple of decades in the making. That isn’t Cheika’s fault. But I also believe that overall the cattle he had were good enough to get better results. If he had a brief to actually do that.

I sincerely hope that the new coach is given a brief to just actually try to beat every fucking team that we play against. Fuck the World Cup, results there will follow.

    Over.

Can I also add with a clean out of the Coaching can we sack the entire Fox Sports commentary team, excepting Barnes. Meathead "Dewy" Horan, "Bad Referee Decision" Kearns and ultra cliché man "He thought he saw a hole" Clarke are sickening. The 12th man could impersonate them in every game and nobody would know because it is the same every game. He would probably have a better understanding of the Laws than any of these numptys.

Stu Barnes has been a stud. First time someone on FS has told it like it really is in 20 years.

Like Robbie Deans. That worked well for us. Wallabies have been a coach killer for a while now.
Reckon the next coach might be on to a winner though

This result was simply a logical progression from the atrocious coaching at the helm of the Wallabies since 2015. Most certainly, the worst in living memory (and that extends back to the 60s) for the Wallabies. What surprises me is that there are still a few posters who contend that Cheika isn't primarily, or at all, at fault. He has been a boil on the arse of Australian Rugby since the day he took charge of the Wallabies, and it is years too late to have him lanced.

Such a disappointment, 40-16 is a real flogging.
Beale - time for the texta, had plenty of chances and many more rocks than diamonds over his tenure. Maddocks or Banks deserve opportunity.
    Hodge - not a starter
Petatia - yes for the future
    Kerevi - will be missed
    Koroibete - yes please
Christian & Genia - thank you (White should've started)
Pocock - thank you very much
    Nisarani - undecided
    Arnold - yes
Rodda - ok BUT Coleman should've started
Hooper - absoutely but need a Kearns type captain who'll take it to the refs - might be even better without the captaincy.
    Latu - yes
    Aalaalatoa - yes
Sio - ok but Slipper should've started
    Tupou- yes
    Uelese - yes?
Toomua - yes but where and when?
O'Connor - yes - can he and Petatia do 12/13?
Salakai-Loto - yes thanks - need more like him.
