England have cut seven players from their squad:
Yarde, Rokoduguni, Dickson, Eastmond, Mullan, Kvesic, Ashton

Bit disappointed at the losses of Yarde, Roko and Eastmond as I think all 3 have serious potential but hey, I'm not the coach.

Yep, the police still haven't charged him with anything yet. It has been months now so there can hardly be any real evidence about him drink driving surely?

perhaps they are waiting until after the RWC, in case any of the other contenders for the 10 shirt get injured and he is needed:)

Haha I believe that would be corruption surely!?!

Personally I would have him as the 2nd choice 10 (I'm bias for Ford as a Bath fan) and not bother taking Farrell. But we all know that won't happen.

Don't rate Roko. Can't put my finger on why, amd am completely unable to justify it, but I don't think he'd be able to make the step up to international Rugby, there's just something that puts that feeling into my head.

Eastmond seems to be simply that they don't want his style of 12, unfortunate, but what can you do. Yarde out is disappointing as I do like him, but if May has been training the house down, and he doesn't want to take many out and out wimgers.

He has only been given 1 chance, against the All Blacks, where he hardly looked out of his depth. His defence against Savea was pretty damn impressive actually.

Oh I know, I just had a quick think I can't remember seeing a black lock in Super Rugby or Currie Cup recently.

Indeed Orie didn't play Super Rugby(Vodacom Cup), but Mtyanda played a bit of Super Rugby for the Sharks(Loaned from the Pumas). Both were starting locks in this weekend's Currie Cup.

Then again, nobody except John Smit watches the Sharks play these days so I don't blame you not seeing him.

I saw the match vs the Pumas. Wow, John has his hands full. Gone completely backwards since Jake.

This is from foxsports... I'm not sure if the All Black medical staff agree with Naholo's claims.

IT’S A MODERN DAY MIRACLE!

NEW All Blacks wing sensation Waisake Naholo declared himself back in the running for a World Cup berth after a rapid recovery from a broken leg using traditional Fijian medicine.

The miracle cure was attributed to “a gift from God,” the Fiji Times reported.

Naholo cracked a fibia during his All Blacks debut against Argentina last month, and after initial treatment in New Zealand, the Fiji-born flyer was told he would be sidelined for three months, putting him out of World Cup contention.

The 24-year-old then turned his back on Western medicine and contacted an uncle in Fiji who specialises in traditional medicine and was told to return to the Pacific island, the Times said.

“If you want to play in the Rugby World Cup, get on the plane and come here,” the uncle, Isei Naiova, said he told Naholo from his home in Nadroumai village, which is renowned among indigenous communities for the healing powers of certain families.

He said he applied traditional leaves known as kawakawarau on Naholo’s leg for four days and when he removed them the injury was gone.

“When I first touched his leg I could feel his bones were damaged,” said Naiova, who added his family had a special gift for healing broken bones.

“I later applied traditional leaves which were removed after four days and as we took the leaves off, I noticed the injury was gone.

“This healing has been performed by our forefathers and has been passed down from generation to generation. It is a gift from God.”
