The Rant

Fred Wood (13)
So will JOC (James O'Connor) play against the boks?? Surely this is Link's first test to set a standard of behaviour that he has publically said he holds high. Bit like when the reds sidelined Ioane despite insisting he didnt do anything wrong but he shouldnt have been where he was.

JOC (James O'Connor) is surely out of Aus rugby next year at least. If I was the force I'd wack the hardest conditions on a contract offer ever.

What I find more amazing is that he was on his way to FKN BALI? I get there is maybe some time off here with a 2 week gap - but don't these bastards need every fucking second of training possible before what will surely be a damn hard tour.

Here's my backline for the boks (wont happen but maybe if JOC (James O'Connor) is out the back 3 will be right)
9 -white
10-Foley
11 - Tomane
12 - Lilo
13 - Kurindrani
14 - AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
15 - Folau

JOC (James O'Connor) should be stood down from the tour. It's unacceptable. Who the fuck gets thrown out of an airport for drunken shit disturbing?

Can't agree more with this. Not as though they will get a whole lot of time together if they are travelling Monday/Tuesday. Should have been in hard training all this week.

But I don't agree with your backline. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) stays at 13 for me, and To'omua starts. I would like to see Foley on the bench with some game time at 10, but he might get a run on at 15 with Izzy moving to the wing again. The option would be Kuridrani on the wing. He has played there for the Brumbies.

Whats wrong with these young talented Wallaby youngsters like JOC (James O'Connor) (or Rabbit like Oom Lee use to call him), Cooper and Beale? Spoiled brats if you ask me and have to understand that there is a big responsability attached to playing international rugby. Oom Lee has been telling us about them since their young schoolboy days about their talent but they seem to miss out on hidings earlier.

One thing about our current coach, he wont take this kak from our players. they will be gone before they know it. Time your coach sort them out. You cant pick spoiled brats when you go to a war.

Didn't he also take a vacation to Bali during a bye week this year?

What's concerning is that this happened on Saturday and he was still named in the touring squad.........

Why don't you all calm down and wait for the ARU to make a comment before crucifying them. I'm one of the many who don't like O'Connors public image but seriously guys this shit is childish. 'Oh no he was drunk on his by week and has to play in 2 weeks'..... really?

Yeah, come on guys.........

It is only, like, his 3rd or 4th indiscretion regarding alcohol this year.........

Seriously though, it's now at the stage where some kind of punishment needs to be dished out..........

Find 3 or 4 alcohol fuelled indiscretions.
Just wait to see what link and the ARU say before going postal. That's all in saying.

Well, the other side of the coin is that he was told he could get adjoining seats on the plane with his missus at check in, and couldn't when they got to the plane.

Started arguing about it, iwth his missus piping in and eventually they were told they could re-book on a later flight and sit together.

No mention of booze, so before we start a lynch mob, how about we just wait for the facts?

If he was pissed and causing hassle, then yes he should be stood down from the tour and sent back to club rugby.

Shit - what is he thinking

frankly he was handed a lifeline by McKenzie and one would have thought he was mature enough to see the writing on the wall if further indescretions occured.
I am over this bloke. QC (Quade Cooper) had the sense to fix HIS problems. JOC (James O'Connor) is still acting like a spoilt kid. I believe that is exactly the reason the senior players at the Reds did not want him at Ballymore. Not because of his rugby (at which he is very good) but the disruption he would potentially bring to the culture.

He has had MORE than his fair share of chances and still shits on everybody.

IMO Link should rub him from the tour, this one and EOYT. If he trundles off to Mungo Land, so be it.

Interesting as to what will be McKenzie's reponse

Anyways, back to the game.......

Apparently Gill will be flown over if Hooper is hurt in the leadup.......

And the decision to take 3 hookers came at the expense of having 2 opensides......

However, the squad has 5-6 potential locks, so I'm sure one of them *cough* Dennis *cough* could've been left behind........

The somewhat Dingoesque one specialist #7 strategy seems a little perplexing to say the least, particularly given the amount of influence in the game that a back row playing like a pack of starving hyenas can have on the game.

The Friends of LFG Foundation should chip in and shout him a ticket to Safferland, returning via Argentina. Things become easy when a quality player just happens to be local.

You're right that we should wait for the ARU / Link comment.

But if you can't see that there's a difference between "drunk on his bye week" and "rejected from flying and removed from the airport by police" then you're kidding yourself.

I have no issue with the fact that he was travelling to Bali for a couple of days. I don't get why people are so upset by this aspect of it. If there isn't any official training on (I would question why there isn't), why shouldn't he be able to go away for a couple of days?

Does he even have a home in Melbourne to return to or has he moved out?

Getting kicked off a plane and escorted from the airport by AFP is a huge issue. Unless there is some remarkable misunderstanding this is a really poor look for Australian Rugby and needs to be dealt with.

If he had just got on the plane, ripped over to Kuta for a couple of days no-one would have even known about it.

trouble is, he screwed up AGAIN
