I don't watch much League, but $700K is big coin for Crichton. He made a good choice - can't see he would be remotely near that in Rugby had things been otherwise. Amazing the Roosters have so much cream left in the pot to pay that!

It sounds to me that he is a dead set leaguie, just used our game to get his asking price up.
