Reece could be all like, Bro, like come home; forget them Eels, they go nuffin left in the kitty. Taqele will be back next year so cuz, us NRL boyz can represent!

Taqele is meant to be back in 3 weeks

Walk up start @12. He has step, good pass, can kick, roided-up. Formidable centre pairing with Izzy. Izzy can even speak in native NRL so no communication issues.

He would be a waste at prop.

Yeah and how much would be his contract? The hightest at Southern Hemisphere?

We need to forget Hayne if he's going to get a Fiji cap, can't afford a player ineligible for the wallabies although there's no doubt he'd be terrific for Public interest. someone mentioned Kepu wants out of his French contract, he'd be perfect since Holmes is leaving QLD and Talakai will presumably get that starting spot.
Then a centre/10 to cover loss of Kurtley, look in the NRC or as I mentioned sound out Henry Taefu, Godwin looks to be heading to Canberra. Was Henry Hutchinson a winger or centre?

Outside of the box:
It would be a publicity ripper if anybody could get the badger in their squad as well.
I always wanted to see Jamal Idris try Union, he grew up playing for Penrith RU so it's not that unfamiliar for him, Maybe you could Lure lattrell Mitchell from the Roosters if youre really looking for a publicity stunt(might cause some blow ups at SFS training sessions)
Those are some of my mad inputs...

Edit: Surely Tepai Moeroa's Eels contract comes up soon(help them out with their salary issues)? He was the only player to rival Kellaway at Aus Schoolboys and he'd make a shattering Super Rugby centre

All this talk about Kepu/Holmes/Idris/Mitchell/Moeroa et al, we desperately need a coupla rock-shifting locks. If there's anything we learnt on Saturday surely it's the need for more physicality in the tight five. Skelton and Lousi should be put on a massive physical program for strength and fitness with a hefty dose of angry pills.

Skelton needs a program of staying on his feet and going straight through rucks, right now he's approaching them like a lumberjack just hit him in the shins. I really struggle to think where you find a Douglas-esque lock in Australia? seems like an area we haven't really focussed on and we're going to be found out

A lot of speculation about Kepu but he will remain in France for the remainder of his contract. Possible stipulation for him to return to the Wallabies but not Super Rugby any time soon. However with TPN looking to head overseas it seems the Waratahs are chasing former Waratah Damien Fitzpatrick

Re locks for 2017, you could do worse than Ben Matwijow. The Reds signed him for injury cover for Kane Douglas, but he's from Sydney originally. He's also played for Canterbury in the NZ NPC, and has signed up for Taranaki this year.

He certainly has made the most of his opportunities and would be worth picking up. I would like him to stay here

They should offer Ryan McCauley from the under 20s an EPS contract next year. He looks like a good long term option at lock.
