The danger for the Force is to play way to conservative in the hope they may scrape into the finals by default. Go out there and take it by the scruff of the neck and shake the shit out of it.

IMO we've had a great season that has been above all expectations, but there is no guarantee we will be able to repeat it again in 2015. Our points for and against on the ladder will tell you that we win small but lose big and while this is a hell of a lot better than losing the tight games in previous years, it does indicate that we are still short of a couple of quality players who can turn a game around on their own.

Relying on a high effort low risk game can only get us up so often. The coaches messages and gee ups will only motivate them for so long. We need some to continue to improve the list whilst maintaining the new team first ethos.

The loss to the Blues was not unexpected, they have a quality list that under performed early in the season. The troubling thing for us was the complete lack of focus and intensity when on the cusp of a maiden finals appearance, everything to play for. This weekend’s game against the Reds is do or die. Its the final home game for 2014, time to stand up and show West is Best. Seize the opportunity and take us to the finals. GO FORCE!
