So if the tahs, brumbies and reds win next week (as you would expect to happen) there will be more Australian teams in the top 5 than from bondi east....

Ladder interesting - so realistically we are looking at the rebels, force and highlanders fighting for the final 8 spot. Drua and MP (Moana Pasifika) I think we can say whilst mathematically could make it are out of the picture. Despite misgivings of final 8 it does at least give the rebels, force and highlanders something to fight for. MP (Moana Pasifika) and Drua really have pride and putting on decent show for their fans in their first season as their motivation.
So this is my attempt at extrapolating further. Obviously lots of guess work, but looking at the next last four games it looks like a tough first round of finals for the Aussie teams.
My basic working is that whomever is higher on the ladder gets the win, except when its close and there is a home ground advantage to the lower team. This obviously doesn't factor in any bonus points.
I reckon the Brumbies will go through undefeated with home ground advantage getting them over the Blues in Rnd 14. They benefit from their toughest two games are at home. The Crusaders and the Blues I have as only losing to the Brumbies however the Reds with returning players may factor into that, while the Blues finish with the Tahs at Leichardt.
The Rebels have a really tough run home but can Reds and Tah fans will be hoping they can produce upsets v Blues (A), Chiefs (H) and Hurricanes (A).

I hope the table finishes that way Reg, but doubt the Brumbies will win all of their remaining games. Suspect we'll lose to the Chiefs in NZ and at lose at least one of the home games.

Interesting that the Canes have completed selling all shares etc to private investors. One of investment company have shares in Ospreys in Wales and other one is a director of the Mighty Nua!!
The Hurricanes have today announced new investors Y11 Sport & Media and Richard Mansell to complete the private investment component of the Super Rugby franchise.
Y11 Sport & Media have acquired a 25% stake investment in the Hurricanes, whilst Richard Mansell, Director of Horowhenua-Kāpiti Rugby Football Union and CEO of Coastlands Mall, has secured 12.50%.
Y11 Sport & Media, a global investment group specialising in sport, made its first investment in highly successful regional franchise the Ospreys, based in Wales, in 2020. The investment in the Hurricanes further emphasises Y11’s commitment to professional club rugby, with the Hurricanes being its first investment in Southern Hemisphere rugby.
As well as a minority ownership, Y11 will develop the Hurricanes IP globally, focussing on the franchise’s global commercial rights outside of New Zealand and Australia.
Hurricanes Chairman Iain Potter welcomed Y11 Sport & Media and Richard Mansell to the Club.

Between 1996 and 2012, the five New Zealand Super Rugby franchises were solely owned by NZR and were run by boards formed by representatives from the provincial unions in each franchise’s catchment.
However, a review in 2012 paved the way for private investment, which saw the Hurricanes franchise purchased by Hurricanes' Investment Ltd Partnership, an entity led by Wellington Rugby Football Union (WRFU) and supported by private investors Horowhenua-Kāpiti Rugby Football Union, Cohiba Traders Limited (Director, Sir Paul Collins), Y11 Sport & Media and Richard Mansell.

I do like Rennie and he's doing an OK job (despite his frustrations on the EOYT). Don't think he's the primary driving force behind something like the Tahs turnaround, though.
