Tupou and Hodges try bombing passes.

Also - the fuck is going on at the Reds? Wilson and Tupou were both terrible.

Leota played the 2 first tests at 6 and was OK. Wilson had the opportunity to impress the coach staff and poach the number 6 jersey but he was terrible.

International rugby is cruel, you have to take any chance you got. Now he's far far away of Valetini, Leota and Samu.

Was illegal and the refs let it be happen. It's crates a boring game of rugby. A good way to kill the game in countries that have entertaining by sports like AFL and leauge go contend with

Aussie Rules is so entertaining for that reason is so popular around the world in countries like Adelaide, Geelong, Darwin and somewhere else

Hey mods can you do everyone a favour and sit down Rebel man and Shiggins for a few weeks? Their constant bitching about the referee was embarrassing and they contributed nothing of substance.

Its fine/ funny when Shiggins does it for the Force in games/ forums that no one watches but not on this one.

The Pumas have beat a strong Scottish side. I can't see the Wallabies beating them without all their strengths.

You can't release your best #12 in order to strengthen the Sevens side. Sevens doesn't pay the bills, the major sponsors come to rugby for the prime time, test rugby.

Wallabies are gonna drop in World Rugby rankings again and if you lose in Argentina the drop will continue.

Argentina has the former Wallabies coach, so they know everything about the squad, the estrategies, the tactics and they gonna explode the weak links.

I’m pretty sure the ARU would prefer Kerevi stay with the 15s, just as they would’ve preferred him not go to Japan. The rumor is he’s coming back to play domestically, probably part of the deal involves him playing 7s in major tournaments. We can either have a situation like last years EOYT, where he pulls out at the 11th hour, or we can have what we are seeing now.

How do they play on from that?

England offered the fools gold out wide and we took it. That sums the game up for me.

This. Noting off that we did take it on occasion and that our speed getting wide was at time breath-taking and resulted in huge gains and occasional points. Not enough to win off as it turns out, but impressive as hell at the time.

Yep. This hurts but we have gone backwards and if the rankings are considered a metric, which they should be, that series was not in any way a pass mark for Rennie and his crew.

BUT, I like the rugby we are playing. I like the depth we are building (crumbs, think about the injury toll). We muscled up to England which is no bad thing even if we didn't win the game/series it is some sort of platform. The backline is looking close to a WB product. I think we have come to conclusions on the loose forwards. Our second row is selecting itself, yes a few percentage points more more be great, but what a treasure un-earthing Frost last night.

We need a good scrum doctor, probably someone from the NH. Lost the black arts last night, or at least the game of getting the refs opinion. Porecki was being worked at one point and I'm not convinced it wasn't simple kidology. Let's not forget Tupou back from injury and some head space issues, Slipper has been so swapped around he actually suggested (playfully) he might pack in the row. Give him a chance to settle at LH.

Line outs are a huge improve, both hookers mostly hitting target.

FWIW I love that we get to build via the NH before facing NZ in a Bled. I like where Rennie is taking us. Still a drop in rankings. This is not a pass mark for me.

Also - the fuck is going on at the Reds? Wilson and Tupou were both terrible.

Something I suspect, but I don't think that is what we were seeing last night. Tupou return from injury and head space stuff, little polishing required, and neither Slipper or Porecki fully shining. Wilson has missed the chance to knock off the edges in earlier game. Sure in internationals you may only get one shot (just consider Frost) but I think he's fine - if not currently on form ahead of the other WBs.

Kerevi just wont play for the Wallabies at all..

Not the worst referee performance I have seen by a long shot. And seriously quite a few Aussie refs have put in poorer efforts than Williams tonight.

My take on the game is that had we started with Slipper, Fainga'a and Ala'alatoa in the front row, we probably win the game.

It seems to be more than coincidence that both Sam Cane and Michael Hooper are having less impact than in earlier years. Came through the U20s (perhaps U21s at the time) together in 2011. Careers have been very similar since culminating in both captaining their national teams from the No 7 spot when a lot of people think/thought a better option was available.

Both are now on the wane and are probably more suited to a 15 - 20 minute stint off the bench.

We lacked direction throughout the series and particularly last night. Nic White was the playmaker from 9. Noah is getting better but is not the starting 10 we need.
Basic skills let us down along with poor option taking. Several last passes that missed the mark where there were almost certain tries on and that non clearance from Nic White just before half time. The Wilson penalty. I think he played OK BTW but did not carry enough. He got stuck in in the tight. He missed his opportunity. Hooper was anonymous for the whole series. Might be time to have a look at McReight and give him a breather?
Last night was a game we should have won. We should have been two converted tries clear in the first 20 minutes.
Disappointing result and performance.
Rory Arnold to join for the Argie trip and hopefully we get back some of the wounded, specifically Cooper.

Just thought of all the things we did.
Hodge pass
Thor pass
Noah kick
White run
Korobetie pick and go
Wilson clean out

Errgghhh depressing

We missed our walking wounded.
Cooper would have sparked our backline much better than young Noah…Kellaway is a smart footballer…. Banks more solid at the back….when is Gamble available? Gleeson from the A side maybe even….
Good old Eddie was too good for us in the end….

The poor Reds season was not casual. Many Reds players were terrible in this series: JOC (James O'Connor), Tupou, Wilson.

JOC (James O'Connor) is a former player. Give game time to the next generation: Donaldson, Edmed, Pasitoa. QC (Quade Cooper) and Lolo are the 2 first options, the third option should be to develop someone else
