So
Newington team lists:
Edward Barton (no.12) & Siteni Taukamo (no.14) have been replaced by Matteo Cleverley and Casey McLean (both in year 11) due to injuries.
Tom Farr - Jones, (son of Nick Farr - Jones), I believe is making his opens debut as the full back for the 2nd XV (year 10 at newington)

The +22 points is just a bit of fun. Almost impossible to predict the score margin so I more so care about predicting the winner of the matches.
I’m hoping for a win but know it will be close. With Siteni out it will be one try either way.

That is one of the most bullshit statements i've ever heard. Scot's is able to support over 25 teams with only one main oval. We have Chrisso which currently isn't looking good but Centennial park which are pretty good fields plus the UNSW fields which juniors occasionally play on. It's not easy to support that many games a week while having no space plus not many available ovals around us. If you are talking about facilities other than fields then that comment is literally the most extreme level of bullshit
The swimming pool is a disgrace they rely every week on the other schools hosting they can’t even build a stupid library it’s taken them 3 years and is a shell. Down the hill Cranbrook built a whole sports facility in 2 years. Proof in the pudding Scot’s to the fore !!!!

Hearing both shore and view won't be able to put up anywhere near to best teams possible in 16a tomorrow with injuries and players in opens.

Fair enough about the pool, definitely needs to be renovated. It's not a bad pool at all it just isn't big enough. It's good for training but it's not good enough to have a pool that can't be used for Waterpolo games. Hopefully the new building is finished by end of this year, that's the prediction. it's gonna be incredible when it's done. I'm pretty sure the reason it's delayed is because they had to switch builders or something like that? Not sure though. I reckon We do have one of the best schoolboy gyms in the country, because of the fact the all blacks use it. The lions den is also a great court but it would be ideal for another Indoor basketball court to be built soon

Any reason why the Year 11’s (Not disrespecting the replacements) have been moved up to the 1st XV in lieu of Captain of Rugby???

Joeys number 1 is the best field in Sydney.
Have to disagree Joker. As someone who has played on these fields fairly recently, The White Oval at King's has the best turf. Whilst Joeys No. 1 Always brings an electric atmosphere, the White Oval can't be beaten regarding the turf itself. Shoutout to Shore though. I've seen their new facilities (changerooms etc.) and they are easily the best of any school in Sydney.

Kings is a cricket oval, not a rugby ground. Joeys has the best surface plus viewing of any school in Sydney. Knox is second.

He is playing 2nds and most likely would not suit the role of being on the wing or the inside center
I’ll agree with you about the wing position but not the inside centre.

I agree with wing position but not the inside centre. You should know as you advocated for his selection at 10, 12 and 13 at the beginning of the season.

Anyway Dusk let’s hope the lads go well at Stanmore tomorrow.

Agree. The pitch means it’s harder in the middle but the turf and drainage and surrounding slopes make it the best in my opinion. The shore set up is similar to kings, newer and large stand and change rooms but the field is much harder.
