Would've loved some Welsh commentary instead of the Kiwis there, just sounded like another super rugby rout of the rebels.

Perfect illustration of why no-one should ever take anything Gregor Paul writes seriously:

Nov 5: Hurld piece titled "How Wales Can Beat Vulnerable All Blacks"

Nov 6: Hurld piece that includes the phrase "...supposedly vulnerable All Blacks..." without acknowledging in any way that he himself labelled them as such.

I'll have to remember this next time someone on an SRP (Super Rugby Pacific)- or RA vs NZR-related thread gets their knickers in a twist over something GP has written...

Did anyone else think there was obstruction in the first try to wales?

Nah, two AB went for the decoy runner leaving a hole I could've run through. Can't recall if it was checked live but TMO would surely have had a look while the conversion was being taken & players were getting set for the restart. Just a bad read IMO.

I’ll have to watch it again, but the few times I did a review it, it looks like the decoy runner took out Mo’unga who was in a good position to defend the try scorer.

i reckon in league it would have been called obstruction because the decoy makes contact with the defender but I’m not sure exactly how they look it at in rugby…. hence my question LOL

^ Mo'unga initiated the contact IMO so the decoy runner is fine. Or that's my understanding of how they'd have looked at it: have heard refs talking to TMO along the lines of "defender initiated the contact therefore there's no obstruction?" & TMO replying "correct".

The forwards performance and the performance of Jordie at 12 is very encouraging.

The performance of the defence - not so much.
I liked that Jordie backed up last performance with a good one, looked quite comfortable there I thought.

All credit to Joe Schmidt for getting the boys home.

ZERO credit to Reek.

Tough to judge that game. How shit were Wales? They made the ghost of Codie Taylor look like Malcolm Marx with his tits on fire.

Even Afterdavid looked up from the base of the scrum/ruck for the first time in years and actually ran with the rugby football in hand.

Poor Sam Cane. Dashed his brains out for the cause but no need for him now. We've got The Fargo Woodchipper.

The live match report from the Guardian...

20h ago03.43 AEDT
60 mins. The All Blacks try to get their carrying game going in the middle of the park, with Shannon Frizzell taking a break from hitting women to have a run, before the ball is kicked towards Sevu Reece who also takes a break from hitting women to not catch it cleanly.

Gotta love the All Blacks’ famous “no dick-heads” culture, eh?

In what Foster says was always part of the plan, TJP & Weber have swapped squads for this week's matches. Not sure why it would be part of the plan, seems to me you'd want your squads to be as stable as possible.

Yep, also Leicester F goning to have run with XV, perhhaps wanting to give him some gametime. Personally I would of swapped Christie to XV match, but guess keeping ot to original squad is also sense.
