First junior 8 at TKS is looking very strong. 4 seat Jeremy Blatchford has showed incredible results in the individual erg time and so has stroke seat Nick Fatis. This crew has loads of potential and have a strong chance of winning the HOR.

Also, the third junior eight has been on the stick as of lately. Stars of the crew include rowers such as Fergus Collins, Henry Hazlett and Charles mclean. The head coach Felix leahy (the guy from the 2021 rowing vid) (went to henley) has been urging the boys tot on the stick. I have spoke to a couple of the boys started). Unfotunaly these boys in the third junior are DEFEATED and have lost EVERY race they have started in. Injury has plauged the crew with 7 seat out due to a back injury.

These boys are determined and ready to have a crack at all of the GPS crews. They may have lost all their races to date but they are keen to win and bring home the HOTR to TKS!!!

Thanks Gents,
.com

Stroke seat N.Platis has shaped up to be an asset for that kings 1st JNR VIII boat, leading them to which i think will be a HOTR win in 2024 for the jnr 8s along with 5 seat H.Matthews who has devastating impact with his raw size and strength for other crews. It will be good to see the future kings crews shape up to the GPS

Good call Dragon Warrior,

I think Kings are easily the favourites with the most uncontested and resounding wins, Although Shore have proven that they are very capable in beating the favoured crew. I believe that Shore will come in close second to Kings followed closely by joeys. Will be interesting to see how it plays out on the day, definitely a race to pay attention to.

The Kings crews depth has proven them worthy, Platis in Stroke setting the tone for Matthews in 5 makes this crew devastating for the other GPS crews especially Joeys and Shore,

I would have to say

View 1.15
Joeys 2.20
Kings 3.40
New 5.80
Shore 8.70
scots 28.90
SGS 59.20
High 102.60
-Footyhead
definitely some strong numbers except for riverview????

i think it looks more like
joeys 2.10
kings 2.20
view 2.80
shore 5.20
New 6.20
scots 35.10
SGC 87.30
High 150.90

a lot of people are missing joeys, won at nationals but were missing a key rower last weekend only to go down by 4 seconds??, big gap but come the real dance these blokes have ticker and are every chance if not a greater one.

All in fun, we would all like to see a competitive High crew. Seriously, don't hack my computer and blow it up.

Hi forum, was wondering what the predictions for this weekends all schools regatta were looking like with kings and Newington out in the 1 & 2 VIII. Keen for a switch up on venue, heading out to the NEAPEN #oldskool

Hey Everyone,

Just on here to let you know the Kings 3rd Junior Eight Video is coming out in the coming days, I will report back in a couple days to send the link. This video Showcases the depth of TKS rowing.

Mate I hate to be that guy but no one cares about the Kings 3rd junior 8. So unless this video is really something special we dont really care. Is their going to be a 1st junior 8 video?

We are all so generous with the odds it reminds me of an old bookie who once told me that back in his day , pre WW2, bookies werent required to display their prices so whenever an owner approached him for a quote it was never more than 3/1, which today is expressed as 4.0.
He said, with a twinkle in his eye, he didnt want to offend anyone by quoting a longer price.

Still waiting for the lane draw to be released so no predictions from me at this time. Although I have noticed the tide and wind will be moving with the crews tomorrow so it seems like we are in for some quick times!
