I have just received word that the kings 3rd iv is stacking, hopefully the view boys can still knock them over.
Should make for tight race (Kings, View and Shore) competing for the Father Gartlan Trophy. View will be searching for a fifth straight. Shore looking the strongest over the season. Kings Returning 1st Junior rowers will put up a fast time.
Interesting to see the outcome. 16.3.2024

Well....what did I miss?
Good to see you back on the forum mate. A few races have been proving not a whole bunch, but it seems that your lads from Hunters Hill are in with a decent shot on the 16th. King’s seem to have their noses out in front, with St Joseph’s and Ignatius on their tail. Fours and Junior Eights are pretty much exclusively all toss-ups between Shore and Ignatius.

Tight races all around, there isnt a certain winner across the board. Kings, Joeys and Riverview all going at it in the First Eight, big battles in the Fours between View and Shore, and the Juniors is anyones game. Gearing up for a cracking Saturday.

Final preperations for HOTR fully underway. Shore, Newington, St Joseph’s and King’s all taking to the Nepean River today. Can only imagine the traffic with the women training hard for the olympics too.

hey Chairman,

where do you believe the range of these 2ks to be around.
Rogers is around a 6:05, Hines sits around the 6:15. So a very tight field indeed. My read is that Rogers has the best time then daylight to Macfarlane in second, Ellis and Ciesiolka right on his tail.

As a shore old boy, I seriously am looking forward to this Saturday. Hot take, but I believe Shore has it in them to take out the Major Rennie. Their tapering process is usually second to none and with the experience of Oliver Smith, I believe they are serious dark horses!
